Why does there HAVE to be a gay option? No offense but from a genetic point of view being gay is a coding error. Chemical synapse error. We'd have a merry old time if everyone was gay...say goodbye to the species.

*headdesk* First I'm female. Second you do realize their have been gay people since the beginning of humanity right?  Its not going away because some 2000 (if its even that old) religion says so.

DNA has been around since the beginning of humanity too...like I said, being gay is hardwired into your genes, and you are the minority. Wasting time and resources to implement (and yes, i watched your little video, one voice segment) it effectively and coherantly across all three games would be a total waste.

Whats also irritating is people feel obligated to side with the "safe" option of coming here and saying that people should have a choice but that's because the world is full of bleeding heart liberals. I'm by no means a homophobe but I don't want it rammed down my throat either. I don't want male members of my crew coming onto me when I'm trying to just get to know my brothers in arms.

*sighs* There was three vids that covered the romance first off all. Second of all the VOs did the same thing for the second game. <_< Third of all we're asking for the option where you have to actively persue them and otherwise would just get friendship dialogue.

(Frankly they should do that with the hetero mances too its annoying to have to reload when your gay Shep starts hitting on someone when you thought you were just being nice).

At no time do I want a male member of my crew to make a pass at me. Full stop. We're brothers in arms, not a bunch of gay's tooling around space camping it up. Yes, I know I'm steereotyping, but stereortypes exist for a reason.
It would go as far as to kill the experience for me. I mean you say "actively pursue", but how far? I mean if I'm asking a comrade about his history, his experiences, I don't want him to just start flirting with me.

Did you just read what I wrote. That would be avoided by having a option on the Dialogue wheel that's obviously fliratous that would open relationship dialogue.

The ME wheel only offers conversation guides, I don't know in advance EXACTLY what my Shepherd is gonna say. The bottom line is I personally (and I'm not alone here) don't want it in. All you gay's should just give up the goat, stop whining to Bioware, and if you want a gay romance go check your local gay club.

However I think you missed the point of my post. I do not disagree with gay choices in games, however I do disagree with placing them on someone who is not gay, or more so has never been written to be such.

As far as the banning goes in Singapore, one this is Singapore need I say more? Two Anyone with a brain knows that the Asari reproduce A sexually, and all have what we would conceder feminine traits. However, would this make a woman who has a relationship with one gay or bi, no. Why? it’s the race, since Asari are not male or female, it’s a large leap to assume, just because they have boobs, that EVERYTHING is like it would be on a human, they are not human, humanoid yes, but have you ever seen one naked? Nope, they could have the antinomy of a toy.

I did leave for a minute, yes, but how am I flip-flopping? I've always held the same position. Just because I agree that Shepard is straight does not mean that I don't understand how people would play him as gay. 

There's no honest way to play him as a ******.  They are deluding themselves.  It's like me daydreaming in economics that I'm a Tyrannasaur rampaging through the college of business here on campus.

I'm fooling myself, and so are they.

There is no ****** Shepard.  There can't be, and there shouldn't be in ME3, or any other ME's for that matter.  He's straight.

They could make the dialog quite obvious, such as when your talking to Kelly. The three options if I recall were quite obvious on what they implied. I'd drop you (The clear renegade option) I'd Catch You (The Paragon Option) And I'd do more then just that (Obvious romantic interest)

Why do you have more of a right than us? We are heterosexuals as well. So because you think you're liberal by being supportive of a gay romance option you are right and we are wrong?

How is worrying incessantly about whether you might be hit on by homosexual males getting that point across, though? If you were really that confident, I don't think you'd be bothered by skipping over a dialog option left there for people who do that kind of thing, nor would you be offended if a gay squad mate hit on you in ME3.

It's the way of human society, girls are much more comfortable with their sexuality, I see my girl friends kissing and hugging all the time, but that doesn't work for males, sure seeing Liara kissing your FemShep didn't turn you into lesbian but I assure you that MANY male players would have their gaming experience ruined by seeing Shepard and Jacob sharing a passionate kiss.

Does it make sense? maybe not but such is reality
