The level up system is basically the same as the first, but you get large experience points at the end of a mission instead of in progress. It is possible to level mid-mission if you're doing sidequests at the time and hand them in before finishing the main quest. The powers themselves are a lot more powerful from a visual standpoint, but I do feel Adepts have been shafted thoroughly on harder difficulties. That would be easily fixed with a patch.
Finally, I believe you are on the wrong forum
Edit: I have bought every single thing (plus the damn fish several times because I keep forgetting to feed them) and I still have quite a bit of credits left. You probably need to look around more carefully

"The lack of side quest and expolation was very disappointing the frist one was much better in comparasion its not even amusing."
I'm sorry but driving around aimlessly was not my idea of fun. Nor was entering the SAME layout base 50 times to unlock the Ally achievements. PASS. At least each side quest in ME2 has a reason for being there.
"No inventory"
You don't NEED one. Why fill up your time sorting useless junk. You're given weapons and armor. What else do you need?
"not enough credits to get everything"
I've not had any trouble having enough credits. I bought out almost all stores and decided to not bother once I got close to the end as I had upgraded everything I needed to. AND I didn't do any (well I did 2 total) side missions.
"The level up systems and joke the frist one was much better and the power are little better just missing the power behide it"
I far prefer this one. It is sleek, streamlined, and each class has UNIQUE abilities. The "hybrid" classes are hybrid no longer, but fully functional unique classes. I like the skill evolution system as well.
"I wish bioware would take its time with a game insted of have assing it."
YOUR opinion.

I love ME2, its my favorite game ever, BUT the lack of inventory is an unmistakable flaw in the game for those who (like myself and many loyal fans) want a Shooter/RPG. Instead of making this game have less clutter and useless looting, they just drop inventory off the face of the earth.

I understand all RPGs seem to have them...and I hate the aspect in all of them I have ever played. Every time I had to go and try to pick up every piece of junk, try to figure out which was 'best' (not different, one was always best) and sell the rest at the store, usually making several trips because I couldn't carry everything. What role are you playing there?
If you want a shooter/RPG, as you define, well, go buy one. Apparently there are many out there.
Why should Bioware confine itself to conventional genres. Maybe it is making something new.

I would rather lay 10 fantastic side quests than play 20 repetitive cut and paste side quests.

One thing that shocked me was how much better the game is on a higher difficulty other than normal. My initial gripe was that the battles were great but too short. But once I bumped it up to veteran the intensity was back again. It seems almost like a different game. This is what was missing. Now I have more challenges to look forward to when I play the game over and over.

LOL! I couldnt agree more! That's my main complaint. Gameplay in ME2 is far superior. THe mechanics are better, cover system is good, load times are better, and the sidequests are great....except they take up the wole damn game!
Also, there is less fetch quests...im not sure if this is bad or not I like gettig right into the game, but it also takes a little away from the immersion factor (a report on the citadel can have you chasing down leads in another part of the galaxy in ME2...or you play detective and have to chase down clues. I thought the mission idea and the direction marker are wonderful editions that I wouldnt have minded taking up say 1/3 to 1/2 of the game..but I want a long interesting main quest!

I'm replaying ME1 after playing 2 so I can transfer a level 60 save. The "exploration," i.e. driving around dead worlds finding mostly nothing looking for a few minerals, is making me want to kill myself. I wouldn't mind them bringing back some form of exploration, just as long as it's different from the way they were doing it in ME1.

ME2 main quest left like one of the planet quests of ME1 to me.. it just felt shallow, its like they cared more about you making your team then killing the collectors... in ME1 you have a clear goal, kill Seran, in ME2 you had no "bad guy" to go after... the bad guy of ME2 felt like the Geth of ME1 just pawns but without a leader to deal with...
i hope ME3 is a longer game... its getting kinda old paying 50 bucks for a game you can beat in less then a weekend.. there are TONS of bad things of WoW... but personally i still got 4 years out of it before i finally said screw it.. what happened to games being epic in length... i just cannot see paying 50 bucks for short games, they are not worth the money

Also, I'd MUCH rather have a few awesome sidequests then a lot of crappy sidequests. Seriously though, even though there aren't that many sidequests in ME2, all of them a re unique and fun in there own rights. Am I the only one who thought that one sidequest where your on a destroyed ship teetering over the edge of a cliff to be amazing?
Also, why is this thread in the Character builds forum?

firstly lack of exploration- this is not so. most people don't appreciate spending an hour of their life driving around a planet to find not much so i'm my opinion doesn't really matter.
Lack of side quest?- did you not even attempt the loyalty quests, walking round and helping random people or exploring planets to find side quests? There is so much of this game you have missed then.
As for the inventory i have to agree with you... well sort of. As an avid RPG player i love inventories but ME2 can survive without one you know. For me the second most annoying thing for me was that if you found some really cool stuff but had no space in your invent your reply was sorry buddy no can do but hey thing of the past
