i like the gameplay better in ME2 but it still felt like it was a shooter trying to have RPG flare... rather then an RPG with shooter style combat... i finished the game with nearly every side quest done at 19.5 hours... IMO that way too damn short... especially when you look back at games like FF7 when even if you had a strat guide to tell you where exactly to go it still took you a min of 50 hours to complete..
ME2 main quest left like one of the planet quests of ME1 to me.. it just felt shallow, its like they cared more about you making your team then killing the collectors... in ME1 you have a clear goal, kill Seran, in ME2 you had no "bad guy" to go after... the bad guy of ME2 felt like the Geth of ME1 just pawns but without a leader to deal with...
i hope ME3 is a longer game... its getting kinda old paying 50 bucks for a game you can beat in less then a weekend.. there are TONS of bad things of WoW... but personally i still got 4 years out of it before i finally said screw it.. what happened to games being epic in length... i just cannot see paying 50 bucks for short games, they are not worth the money
I'm not sure what difficulty you played it on, I"m not sure how many sidequests or subplots you did, but 19.5 hours doesn't sound like you had very much fun. Try doing more in the game, instead of just rushing through it so you can criticize it later. Now as for paying 50 bucks for a weekened. This game lasted me two weekends and I"ve immediatly started it over again to check out how different it is when I've saved the council. Let's leave it at I was happily surprised. Wow, however, costs $13-15 a month depending on how often you pay, multiply that by 12 months in a year and again by 4 years, then add up any expansions you bought andthe base cost. Then you'll begin to see why you got so much time out of it.

there are 19 "side quests" i did 15 of them... there is just an overall lack of content... going with your look at wow for example.. ok it takes 24 hours to get max level in ME2... i know every quest in wow what to do and where they are.. to get max level in wow knowing EVERYHING takes 5 days played time... thats 5 times ME2... then the game really begins as far as building your charater... i'm mot saying wow. ME2 by any means... i'm saying that the sheer amount of content of games made now vs a few years ago is pathetic... FF7 50+hours Chrono Trigger 40+ hours.. people act like its a treat to get something over 10 hours nowexevii wrote...

According to Steam I have just over 100 hours played in ME 2. About 250 in Dragon's Age.
I have also played WoW for four years.

"No inventory"
You don't NEED one. Why fill up your time sorting useless junk. You're given weapons and armor. What else do you need?
I love ME2, its my favorite game ever, BUT the lack of inventory is an unmistakable flaw in the game for those who (like myself and many loyal fans) want a Shooter/RPG. Instead of making this game have less clutter and useless looting, they just drop inventory off the face of the earth.
Inventory management is not the defining characteristic of the RPG genre. I think it would be better to make an actual argument as to what an active inventory management system would add to the game rather then insist on this false correlation of Inventory = RPG.

so you have 350 hours in 2 games.. and 4 years in one other.... kinda large gap there
Considering how much I pay for WoW I should get more out of it. Not to mention the Bandwidth usage and services like Lowerping.

you already pay for he internet so thats not an "extra" cost and if you are dumb enough to think a servise can lower you ping then you are just stupid and deserve to lose your money

NOOOOO. Mass effect seems to by going the "Deus Ex" way.
Yes, this is a good way of putting it. ME2 wasn't raped nearly as much as DX:IW was when compared to it's predecessor, but it seems to be going down the same way. It's kinda sad and disturbing at the same time.

shortsighted failness wins again!!!
There will be more content to fill the gap between ME2 and ME3. get over yourself, or go play some jcrap FF something or other!!

It also seems that all weapon manufacturer are bankrupt(at least the good ones like the Haliat Armory)
Not too mention that the universe went backtracking to suddenly start using Ammunition again.
