There are a lot of lovely Asari; it is hard to say if one is more attractive than another, they each have their own charms. For instance Liara and Samara are both beautiful, but Liara is more youthful and pretty, while Samara is what you might call "regal", and statuesque. I don't think that either is more or less attractive than the other, though. Others that I would include in the "upper tier" of good-looking Asari are: Shiala, Aria, Sha'ira, Captain Wasea, and Nelyna.

I was just about to mention the lack of love for 'beer goggle' Aethyta, but these last couple posters ninjaed me.
I like the merc boss in Miranda's loyalty quest. Mainly because of the epic burn she hits Miranda with.

I'm gonna stay away from comparing just physical beauty, as the graphics improved considerably between ME2 and ME1 and that would be unfair to the ME1 asari. So I'll go with personality, this being my personal preference of which asari would make the more interesting companions:
1) Samara - I'm a sucker for grace, wisdom and tragic figures
2) Aethyta - "Sorry, no sex: I just cleaned the bar..." Reminds me of Wrex, definitely strong Krogan influence.
3) Sha'ira - Insightful and perceptive, mature and caring.
4) Shiala - Strong sense of justice, willing to pay for her mistakes
5) Liara - A good kid. She sounds young enough to be my daughter (I'm 43), hence my preference for the more mature asari characters.
