Never did a mission without one of the two.

Miranda because I like how her character evolved and... Jack also, especially when she told me to "**** off" at the end of the mission...Just after everybody had praised me.

I would also add Mordin. Damn sad that he died (I loved his song! Kudos to the voice actor and to the songwriter).

Sadly, I think he may have a bullet with his name on it, just waiting to take him out in Mass Effect 3. I mean, the guy gets half his face blown off after getting shot and gets shot again during the suicide mission (in my playthrough at least).



Though, I imagine his death could be a pretty powerful moment. Imagine if Harbinger indoctrinated him, and you have to kill him.

For me it was Garrus, Thane, Mordin and Miranda. Liking Miranda was a total shock to me, I expected to hate her! Also Kelly, she was nicer than I had thought and quite thoughtful.



Legion was pretty awesome too, but we got him quie late into the game. I literally activated him, did his personal mission then went and then tore the Collectors a new one. Here's hoping for some DLC which will add new conversations and add to all characters.

I liked them all in a different way.
I liked Miranda, Jacob, and Tali because they were good friends,
Jack, Thane, Mordin, and Garrus had sad stories, but were interesting people to get to know,
Grunt, Samara, and Legion were interesting for awhile, but were hard to get close to.

As for non-party members, I liked the two engineers down on the engineering deck. I forget their names...

Of the new crew? Mordin is the only one I would care about if he died in the suicide mission and I bring him with me most missions. I also liked Grunt quite a bit. The rest I don't really care about one way or the other.

Hands down, Garrus was my favorite. I never went anywhere without him in ME 1, and that carried over to ME 2. I also really liked Grunt. Tali is a close third. I didn't quite care for her in ME 1, but I really started to like her in this one. I never really had her on my squad, but I liked her character.



I'm sure Legion would have made my list, but he just comes in so late in the game.

From non squad member crew: Joker, EDI and the two engineers, especially loved the part where Donnelly learned about Jack "Stop toying with me." the accent is awesome, as is the dirty mind that comes with it.

Other: Asari Mattriarch bartender is awesome, and the volus buying a new enviromental suit is kinda funny in a pathetic sort of way, the Turian merchant in the food shop in citadel deserves a mention ofcourse.

And last, but not least: The dude from Mass Effect 1 GOT HIS REFUND, and is now, after 2 years, arguing about wether or not he is in the right place to get his goods at the warehouse.

Mordin.

Garrus gets honorable mention. I didn't really like him in ME1 for being so wishy washy but in ME2 he really came into his own. Tali is the opposite - I liked her in ME1 but my interest waned in ME2. Her being possibly the weakest squadmate might have something to do with it.
