Also i really liked Thane and Samara, both of them had really interesting stories and i hope we get to see more of them in ME3.
Strangely enough i didn't really like Tali as much this time around. I thought i would because i played the whole of ME1 with only her and Liara in my squad.

Garrus is also pretty awesome (he was my second 'default' squadmate). Badass without being a bad person (i.e. he didn't complain when I did Paragon options, like say... Morrigan).
I also like Mordin for his hilarious dialog and Legion for being really interesting (totally bringing him to the Tali quests on my next playthrough--screw the crew).
Strangely enough, I found the human characters to be the least interesting. I just think their stories weren't very well written or deep enough.

Miranda (LI)
Thane/Jack (Pure badassery)
Garrus - He's a wingman. Fits like a glove on my team anytime.

Can't I just say "everyone" and leave it at that?

Mording was awesome too. Samara was also a biotic beast.

Playing on insanity I don't group with her unless there are synths, however. I tend to build my groups for need now.

No love for Grunt I see. I happen to be quite attached to Grunt. Partly because of Wrex was my Shepred's best comrade in ME and he apporves of Grunt, also I like the way he evolves in finding a purpose to fight and a place to belong. And the way he calls my Shepred his Battlemaster without the slightest bit of hesitation in front of the Krogans just got me.
I liked Wrex in ME1... he reminded me of Klingons, and I like Klingons. I think part of his appeal is that he's lived a long time, seen it all, done most of it himself, and has an opinion on just about everything. He's a straight-talking, no-nonsense guy.
Grunt often seems like a pale imitation. Like he knows what he's supposed to be, but he just lacks the je ne sais quoi of Krogan culture.

Mmmm Klingons, indeed. Makes it very apt that Wrex gets to headbutt Worf, son of Mogh now in ME2. And that's not something we can say of Grunt.Llandaryn wrote...

Also...I see dead people. >.<
