I am pretty sure you don't gain her loyalty if that happens.

Is there a way to get her exiled?

Don't show the evidence and don't use charm/intimidate.

You feel like such a jerk if you present the evidence. She trusted you.

You're just protecting her, there is no way she could expect to get her off ther hook without presenting the evidence, so it's either exile or evidence. Maybe you feel that it's stupid to get herself exiled for the sake of her dead father?

Not what I did, just saying.

She tells you that she'd rather get exiled than letting that happen to her father, dead or not, so it's logical that you don't gain her loyalty with betraying her. Go figure...

Well sure, but it's still arguably in her best interest, even if she's going to be pouty about it.

Good point, but still, I'd like to keep one of the two only remaining team members from ME1 as happy as possible, but thats just me.

Yeah No Loyalty gained from Tali going that route which for me resulted her biffing on the Suicide mission

Has anyone actually tried this? What if she goes into exile and it opens a new mission?

The only thing I dislike about not presenting the evidence is that its a BIG FU to her father. He obviously knew what would happen to him, yet he still wanted it given over to the admirals.

I get bothered by the fact that that knowledge wasn't brought to light. Admiral Xan sends you a message saying she found the results of Rael'Zorah's experiments and planned to continue his research with the ultimate goal of re-enslaving the geth. If you choose to rally the crowd you do get an option after to tell the one admiral (Neema?) about the evidence - off the record that is. But I decided to let Tali decide and even then she wouldn't tell the admiral, who again was one of her father's closest friends.

Basically, really hoping this doesn't come back to bite me in the ass.

Which leaves the question if it is really Shepard's place to decide for Tali what her best interest are. My Shepards at least respect her too much for that.

If you don't though, you're disrespecting the dead man...  it was actually a hard choice, but for Tali's sake, didn't.

I did as well, but the argument could be made that she wasn't in the sort of condition to make that judgment at the time so you had to step up for her. Not only would turning the evidence keep her from exile, it also might illustrate the dangers of trying to retake the geth and turn the board against any further experiments of this sort.

Everything points to a war in ME3.

Also I love the paragon response. especiallly Tali lines after the trial.

Well..I've gotten her exiled once, but that was because I couldn't choose the charm/intimidate options. -.- It doesn't open up a side mission.

Well I would not do it, her father was an ass, she loves him but what he did was reckless and dumb. She knows that it's the right thing to do but I see her point it's not a matter of of the truth so much as protecting his legacy, and for quarians being a nonperson is a fate worse than death. She can handle exile, but for her family is very important and to have the family name be tied to what happened would be a fate worse than death.

Of course I usually have the persuasion to get her exonerated but yeah showing the evidence is not a way to win her loyalty. if you don't care go for it, I know I won't maybe on my one day I will get to it renegade female Shepard run.
