I bought this game a few days ago and redeemed the points for Shale and the Blood Dragon Armor DLC that came with the game.  I also purchased the WK DLC to go along with it.  Everything downloads just fine but it tells me that I have the wrong game version so nothing will install once downloaded.  It says I need game version 1.0.  That was the version that initially installed on the system.  I thought maybe it was a patching issue so I updated the game patch.  Still no go.  Any suggestions?

Also, noticing that when I try to purchase RtO it keeps sending me to the purchase points website when I have more than enough points available to buy the content.

I would like some feedback on this too. We're probably not the only people with this problem either. There might be another post around about it?

For Return to Ostagar you will need to make sure that you have Patch 1.02 installed for it to run.  http://social.biowar...page/da-patches, but likely its another issue preventing your DLC from installing that isn't related to the version number. (The version number is a literal red herring.) Here's a quick summary of the various things that can fix install problems.

* Clear the download cache. From the game launcher click Configure, then go to Repair and click on "Clear Download Cache".
* Delete the manifest.xml and addins.xml file from My Documents\\Bioware\\Dragon Age\\Settings
* Make sure the physical location of your My Documents directory is on the C: drive
* Set Windows Region and Language Settings to English (United States)

If this doesn't resolve things there is more advanced troubleshooting, including links and instructions on how to manually install DLC, in the Redeemed DLC Troubleshooting FAQ. Often even if there's an error, the manual installation process can provide more useful clues about what is going on.

If none of these works, the manual install process will give more useful error messages, so its easier to figure out what's wrong.

I just tried this and it worked perfectly.

"...3.2.2. Manually start the Dragon Age Updater Service if present

1.) Press the windows key + R (or click Start and then RUN) and type in services.msc and press ENTER

2.) Locate the Dragon Age: Origins - Content Update in the list of services.

3.) Right click it and select START

4.) If nothing happens, run the game check the DLC content section again

5.) In case of an error or a timeout go to 3.2.4

"

hope it helps
