I think that in ME 3 there going to kill off all the squad mates from ME 1 and ME 2. That Shepherd with probably become more of a cyborg maybe even part geth or part reaper and that after losing everyone he cares about he either dies at the end or makes some kind of peace with the reapers and goes back to beyond the veil.


The clues from ME 2, I think say as much in my personal opinion and either of those endings would suck big time but are probably likely unfortunately

I hate to say it, but I think you are right they will either kill or remove all the squadmates from ME2 considering that any of them could have died in the last part of the game. They might keep the ones from ME1 only i.e Wrex, Liara, Ashley, etc. All the Tali fanatics are going to crap their pants, Tali is not coming back just face the truth it would take to much time to fully include a character that for all Bioware knows is completely removed from 30% of the players save files. I suspect the ending will be similar to dragon age shep can die for paragon ending or live for renegade ending ,maybe even taking control of a reaper dreadnought. Shepard then procceeds to hold the Galaxy for ransom and proclaims himself emperor mwuahahaha.

The reapers decide that, this being about the 20th time they annihilated organic life from the galaxy, they can't be bothered with the hassle and retire to take up the quiet life of gardening and watching day time tv.

You know, it'd be kinda cool if there were "alternative endings" like you get on some DVD movies. Some tragic, some comedic, etc. It would let the developers have some fun with the end of the trilogy.

The Reapers win and everyone dies, Shepard is just about to be overwhelmed by Husks when Dr Who comes and saves him. Then Dr Who retcons the whole series and everything is back to normal.

The way I see it, Shepard and his team - all inside the Normandy SR3, go through the secret Mass Relay to where the Reaper army is supposed to be - all dormant.

After the reach the other side, they find a single asari or just a floating sign, saying:
"Thank you Shepard, but our Reapers are in another Mass Relay"

and that's how it ends...



Now that would be real evil!
