What is exactly the benei of he Collector Assault Rifle in comparison to Avenger and Vindicator?

Lots and lots of ammo. Pretty high rate of fire, but its not so accurate.

The Geth-AR Pulse-Rifle i think is similar? Lots of damage against Shields, but weak against all else?

Collector AR has the 3rd highest DPS of all AR's in the game.

Also want to note that the Collector AR doesn't have an increase redicle when shooting, so the accuracy always stays the same even when you hold on the trigger.

Yes, but it seems it has only half the damage of the Vindicator and its Rate of Fire is also less then half, so its use is only, till you get it on Garrus' mission.
And Geth damage is really pathetic.... Only use is against Shields.
