1. When the Awakening expansion comes, will there be an impact on the Persistent World. Like, instead of just acting like Awakening already happened, is it possible that we can make an impact on the events that take place in Awakeing? Like, how will this site deal with expansions and changing events of the DA universe?
2. Can your character be somebody important. Like, let's say, you have a character that's an archbishop of some place or, let's say, you're the Revered Mother of some village. Maybe you were born into some noble house? Or you own a business? Or you're the of a squad or the leader of an army division? Or maybe you're a very wanted to criminal? Perhaps the leader of a mercenary guild?
3. Is it possible to travel outside of Ferelden?

Just a few questions:
1. When the Awakening expansion comes, will there be an impact on the Persistent World. Like, instead of just acting like Awakening already happened, is it possible that we can make an impact on the events that take place in Awakeing? Like, how will this site deal with expansions and changing events of the DA universe?

1. I have been thinking of this, and I imagine our actions on the board would effect the events of Awakening. When the expansion comes out, it will likely be a board-wide event. Since it is only day 5 on our boards, it is hard to anticipate exactly how this will go down, but it has been on my mind.
2. You can be someone relatively important, yes. It takes special consideration, however, for obvious reasons.
3. Yes, we have boards available in many places in Thedas, such as Rivain, Par Vollen, Orlais, Antiva, the Anderfels, and even Seheron. Any place I could find information on that exists in the Dragon Age universe should have a board.

Intersting... I was searching this forum to find some mods, but roleplaying you say? Interesting...
Oh, can I use the name "Baldur Sturm?"
Since the game, and the company who designed it are so closely related to Baldur's Gate, I would have to say no.

Right now, on our one-week anniversary, we don't have a written out set of ideas about what sorts of places other countries might be.NvVanity wrote...
I'm thinking of joining but how will being from a different country work? We don't know much about many of the nations except for what they're based off of (Orlais France, Tevinter Byzantine Empire, Antiva Italy, Anderfels Germany) so if our character was from there do you guys have a set idea of what the place would look like or so as to not have multiple users assuming things and messing it up?

Also, is it possible to control more than one character?
Yes, we allow two, but 1. You need to register another account for that character
2. We don't allow people to make new characters within a short timeframe, so don't expect to make your character today and make another one a week or even a month later.
3. Guilds and organizations are allowed, yes.

So I take it creating a Nevarran, Free Marches or Rivain character might not be a good idea since we know the least amount of info on them.
Ah i'll think of something i'm signing up. Though is believe it or not my first foray into RPing on forums so any words of advice? Besides the usual "Don't make your guy invincible" stuff I usually hear from RPer's.

I've just finished playing the campaign for dragon age origins and funnily enough my ending was almost exactly the same as the one you posted.
