He's just bland .Always saluting. Ok, he's the loyal guy on the team. Nothing really interesting. Doesn't seem to have much of a conflicted self.

The reason I hate him is that the romances available for femshep (if she is interested in men only that is like me.) are as scarce as hens teeth. The poor guy was just not up to it at all and that turned out to be a major disappointment. You couldn't even ask him about the weather without feeling like a skank and his response to that was less than positive. To call him a LI was just ridiculous.
The only people I wanted to talk to LESS were all of the females on the ship who were way more interested in me than HE was.

I don't know how many times I've started a new game, left it for a few days, came back and decided I'd like to have made differrent decisions. So I start all over. And every time, Jack and Miranda are there, with the same lines, until I unlock someone I'm not sick to death of. I do sometimes keep Miranda in the squad, but she has a few things Jacob doesn't...

I didn't think he was half bad in Mass Effect 2. He was a huge bro of Shepard that seemed to lay down his life for shepard's. In ME3, however...... what a douche. Leaves Femshep for another woman, declines joining your squad, and convinces Brynn not to name her unborn child after Shepard. Go to hell, Jacob.

I like Jackob's loyality. That's it. I remember playing as fem shep and I wanted to talk to him for a bit. He said something like, "I don't know about forcing these talks, shepard." What the hell!? Socialize, fool. He's the most uninstring guy in Mass Effect 2. At least Zaeed has a cool british accent and stories to tell.

Honestly though, for me once Grunt came along, Jacob became obsolete. Grunt is a vastly superior tank than Jacob. Meranda would have suffered the same fate once Samara joined up too. If not for Meranda's passive group stat boosting abilites, and adept insanity mode. I would never have used her again either.

I like him more than Miranda, but in combat, Miranda is more useful than him.
Jacob, Zaeed and Jack are my least played squadmates, then comes Miranda. Also, even if I like Tali, I prefer Legion between the two because his comments are more interesting and funny though they have the same powers. However I still want them all on my ship.
