Did you see the damage those guns did in the end of the game! Garrus's hard work saved the day.

For reals! At least Jack and Mordin admitted that she just didn't want to talk to me anymore! But the constant avoiding me hurt even worse! Especially from Garrus. *sad face*



I liked how Thane did it though, thinking about what we've talked about and what not, but I didn't start getting that from him until nearly the end of the game. Garrus was already through talking to me like ten minutes after I did his loyalty mission. When I got the email from his friends wife, I thought there would be some epic conversation where I helped Garrus deal with his guilt, instead he just calibrated things and blew me off...

yeah, any consideration I had of romancing him on a femshep playthrough died because if you are just friends he says like 2 things all game.

Hey don't disrespect Garrus's calibrations. The work he does on the cannons was simply awesome.

No he was too busy studying why his voice was so maladjusted to his body.

If that's really the end of his dialogue tree, it's pretty annoying.



I'm pretty sure I've reached the end of both Jacob and Grunt's trees, but everyone else, even after the mission is finished, apparently has better things to do. Well, Jack is confused about the relationship between her and Shepard, and Tali is somehow confused about the fact that Shepard isn't interested in a relationship with her, but whatever. Miranda's filing paperwork, Samara is meditating, Legion is building consensus, Mordin is coducting mad science for fun and justice--which I approve of--Thane is being emo, Zaeed doesn't count, and Garrus is performing calibrations.



It can't be the number of missions performed that inspires the characters to open up to you, as Mordin was a constant companion, and Grunt only got to tag along for his loyalty mission. Perhaps certain dialogues are unlocked as you gain levels?

Thane gets mad extra credit for being the only romanceable squadmate with lots of non-romance dialogue.

Oooooooh Bao-dur, somehow the characters with the least dialogue always end up being my favorite.

I don't know why BW has Garrus say so little. It bugs me, because it's only slightly better if you romance him. Seriously, BW, he's one of the most popular characters you have and you give him only a handful of lines? Don't get me wrong, what lines he has are pure gold, but I would have really appreciated having MORE than that little bit.
