This thread need a super pop . The first time i was playing ME2 .. It's was annoying like hell . Because i did not know when he would finish calibrating so after each mission i talked to him and he repeated the same thing.

It's not the fact that Garrus was calibrating. It's the fact that i took the elevator and runned across the whole ship to talk with him and he was to busy *calibrating*.It's was annoying.

My least favorite was also Jacob .. When he was saying

-Already? I'm not the type of people who want to force conversation .. The first time i hear that , i wanted my Shepard to flush him into space.Bioware need to find a way so we don't have to scan the entire ship after each mission to see if someone has something new to tell us.I dunno .. Make them come to us?Or make the dialogue option appears or give us hint when a npc want to talk with us.

I predict in ME3, Garrus is still calibrating ship guns. In fact his " Can it wait for a bit? I'm in the middle of some calibrations" line is a meme on the YouTube videos featuring him.

If nobody has anything to say to you it should just be done as a brief conversation like:

Shep: Sup?

Garrus: Not much

Shep: Kay.

Instead of having them blow you off. It makes Shepard appear like some socially inept ****** desperate to be liked by someone.

Garrus: Can it wait for a bit? I'm in the middle of some calibrations

Shepard: No it can't damn it! (Pulls gun) I want to talk to you now!!!!

Man they could've at least changed up his lines maybe even having him fix electronics in there or something Garrus was a chatter box on SR1 what happened? I mean he could've at least railed on how much Omega sucked or something. I hate budget constraints.

In 3 him, Joker and Tali need tons more talking time then anyother crewmen on board unless they're back from 1 they should talk about past, present, and future things.

Yea I agree, and would like to see more convos between them and Ash/Kaiden and Liara as well since they've all been in it from the get go. It'd be nice for example, for Garrus to see Ashley and be like..

Garrus: Tough situation ahead, but we've been in tough situations like this before, right Ash.. Remember Virmire, Saren, nukes, a race against time..

Ashley: *Sheds a tear* Kaiden was a good friend, it shouldn't have come to that, but..

But What? *As Shepard walks in*..

Simple little convos like that would bring the spirit of the crew much closer.

"Shepard, I wanted to thank you."

(didn't you thank me the last time I talked to you, Garrus? And the time before that?)

WHAT?!  The old Garrus ran out of conversations, too?  NO!  NO NO NO!  The original Mass Effect was PERFECT!  LALALALALALALALALA CAN'T HEAR YOU!

(Yeah, the "I-wanted-to-thank-you" thing annoyed me as much as Calibrations...  Buuuut I got to seriously mess with him by repeating the conversation over and over.

Over and over and over.  If he's gonna spam me, might as well have fun with it.)

Wow, I wonder what the RPG consequences must have been for cutting Garrus off!  I hope the results of your behavior makes it into ME3, otherwise Bioware will have sold out to the Man.

Wait...Garrus talked alot in ME1.. are we playing the same game? I thought Garrus' conversations were really short compared to the other squadmates plus he was the only one without an "investigate" option.

I agree, Garrus needs more conversations in ME3. It was really disappointing seeing him have so little dialogue as he is my favorite character.

Incidentally i love how Rupert says "Back to work" and then he just leans back and stares into the air.

I agree, the lack of conversations between Shepard and all of the returning characters was irritating. It's just really bad with Garrus, since he's one of the first squad members you pick up. I think interaction was probably the really disappointing part of ME2, because there's no indication that the squad interacts with one another. How often do they speak to each other outside the briefing room, because I can only think of the loyalty conflicts and the Garrus/Tali moment on the Citadel. Otherwise, it's just individuals offering comments. That's what I loved about the elevators on the Citadel, that everyone would make conversation.

But I would have loved to have some 'good old days' talks with Garrus and Tali and some reaction to the Virmire survivor conversation down on Horizon you know, little things. Some real indication that these are old friends. You get more out of the people who Shepard has only known for a couple of weeks than you do two of his friends from the first game. What? And yeah, some variations between the various lines. 'Can it wait? I'm in the middle of some calibrations.' Over and over and over and over and over and over and over and- *violent stabbing* Mordin would vary his comments, so it didn't feel like he was brushing you off. The others, though, are clearly giving you a brush off, which clashes with the 'well respected leader and commander' impression we're supposed to have of Shepard.

All above. When I first played ME2 I thought I'd be getting a deeper or meaningful or fun type of dialogue (like the one with dr.chakwas.. loved every bit of it !!) from both Garrus and Tali  but nope.

If you bring Garrus with you to Horizon then he will defend you while Ashley/Kaidan is yelling at you. Ashley/Kaidan don't say anything back though.

Multi-billion credit starship and you need to zero the main guns every 15 minutes. This is what budget cuts do to ship-building programs people! They had to outsource the work to the damn volus and look what happens!

Zaeed and Kasumi never stop talking to you. The problem is they both sustained a blow to the head and suffered memory loss, so evetually they tell you the same stories over again.

Maybe he resets the targetting computers constantly so he has something to do. Heaven forbid he should get some duct tape and patch the bullet holes in his two suits of armour.
