I can't get my god-damn armor for mass effect 2 because EA hates happiness. Apparently, for your bioware account to be linked to your gamertag, your bioware account has to be linked to your EA account. But my EA account can't link to my gamertag because it's apparently already in use. HOW THE **** DOES THAT MAKE ANY SENSE?!? EITHER FIX YOUR GOD-DAMN SITE, OR PROVIDE THE ARMOR AS A DOWNLOAD FOR PEOPLE OVER XBOX LIVE! OTHERWISE, **** OFF EA!
EA online sucks

Same problem here. According to the message, my gamertag is already in use. Of course it is in use, by me, which is why i want to register it with ea in the first place.

What I had to do was go to ea.com and go to the account manager and merge all sorts of stuff in and then select a default persona. Then all the DA:O and ME2 linkage stuff started to work for me, including DA:J bonuses for DA:O, ME:G (for iPhone) bonuses for ME2, and DA:O bonuses for ME2 (blood dragon armor). Getting the linkages set up was a bit of work, but now that they're set up that part isn't getting in my way.

I'm obviously late to the party but I agree wholeheartedly. This is a huge pain in my ass...
There is no reason this needs to be so complicated. meh.....
User management features for EA accounts blow goats too. Why can't I delete an old account or un-link my gamertag without having to involve customer support?!!!!
