Maybe he just wears glowing contacts. Jeez, it doesn't mean he's a Reaper.

Maybe he got blinded by constantly staring in that big colorful planet behind him

speaking of which, why is that planet always there? Does it signify something important to the Illusive Man or just decoration?

Staring at the sun isn't good for your eyes... go figure what his problem is...

The Illusive Man is a Reaper!

The Normandy SR2 is a Reaper!

The Migrant Fleet are Reapers!

I love these conspiracy theories - always draw a laugh.

Here's a theory: he has cybernetic implants in his eyes.

Yeah. So does Shepard, and a lot of soldiers in MEverse.

Likely are implants in order to keep him up to date on the VAST amount of pies he keeps his fingers in.

Also, might not even exist, as he is only ever seen from a holoprojector, he could be a wooly mammoth that just has a communication device programmed to project him as human so he can better communicate with his subjects.

This have been ruled out before, in the introduction of ME2 Miranda is seen in the same place as TIM.. talking to him so he`s pretty real.. :)

As far as I'm aware all it does is indicate your alignment....and then which ending you chose, at which point it throws your alignment out the window

I thought I remember miranda telling me that even she has never seen the elusive man face to face. Maybe I just made it up, because i remember it striking me as odd at the time.

She doesn't say that. She says that few people ever see him face to face.

The most probable answer is that the contacts are "so in this season".

It is also likely the contacts are Reapers.
