Sorry if this has been asked, since I can't find the search function. Are there face codes for imported characters or not? I really love the one I imported but her cheekbones are slightly off and I'd like to edit her, but I don't know how or if I can. I tried making her from scratch but it didn't work out too well...

if you want to touch up a previous character... well, either just do your best from the custom appearance menu or if you're familiar with a computer registry, you can scrounge it and mb come up with the registry that holds the code(s), if there is one.

i just did a quick search of my own registry, doesn't seem like you can retrieve a code like that, it's only used once anyway. It'll probably be embedded in the save-file code so that'll be kind of impossible to decypher, just make a new char or tough it out

Yeah. I understand why you are frustrated. I was having the same problem I just did some searching and you can get your code. All you gotta do is make the character as he is now and then get past the part where they rebuild you and go into the pause menu. Open the Squad tab and his code should be at the top of the page. Also sbear, I am not sure if you are using the computer version but this is the 360 forum.. We can't look in our registry.

I see no code in the squad tab, but I shall keep searching.
Unless I have to do it right after I get rebuilted...which wouldn't make sense, but I shall try anyways!
thanx for the help. And yes, I'm on xbox.

The code in the squad tab is in the top left corner of the screen. It's a dark grey text, easily missed if you aren't looking for it. I didn't see it until my 2nd playthrough.

I totally missed it aswell, i only noticed it after importing my ME2 save in NG+.
It's pretty cool since you could use that code to get all the sliders for your custom Shep and remake him in ME1(if you so choose too).

either he was mistaken as there is nothing like that on the Xbox 360 version. Or he was lying. Either way, there is nothing to help people like us that want to find something like that.

Of course there is, I have the Xbox version. It's there, in my game, and in my wife's game on a seperate gamertag. Why would I lie, and how could I possibly be mistaken that I saw what I saw? Maybe it's not there for a default Shep since it's impossible to make him with sliders (his face is a scan of a real person).

So your character is an import from ME1??? And you are in the Squad tab of the pause menu during the actual game? Not during the face creation part?
Mine doesn't have one in the squad tab during the game...maybe my face is just too awesome to be coded! lol.

Well, according to this forum post over on gamespot, one guy doesn't have a code listed, but his g/f does...

Very odd indeed. Anyone know why? Or is it just a case of the 'default' Shep not having a code?
