Tali. She's been a squad member for the entire game in both ME1 and ME2 upon becoming available.
I pretty much wouldn't mind playing all ME3 with just Tali and Garrus

Tali. Other than that...Garrus, Grunt, or Jacob.
Garrus has been a squad mate for 2 games and he's buds with Shepard.
Grunt is a great, violent henchman who is fond with killing whomever goes up against Shepard. Perfect!
Jacob's a bro. I'm weirded out that the romance if you're a female Shepard is creepy, but as male Shepard he's portrayed as that friend you can trust and chill with.
I have a feeling Legion would be cool too, but I've never used him because I gave him to Cerberus. I played as Shepard as "me" and I know that given Shepard's history with the Geth and Sovereign, I wouldn't be too keen on having a Geth on board. Plus it's a bit of a spit in the face considering that Tali's father was killed by Geth and her entire people are in a depressing situation because of them.
I like Mordin too, but I think he's better as an NPC with plenty of great dialogue.
