Just what the title says. I'm playing through on HC (for the achievement) as an adept (haven't played it before), and I want to get the achievement for using Liara for most of the game. Is this going to create an issue? What about if the third member if Tali? Do I not have enough fire power?
How bad is it to have two adepts in the same group for hardcore?

Its not too bad. Adepts were basically gods in ME1 if I remember right.

Okay. I'm just having trouble right now. I'm guessing that's because I'm a low level trying to rescue liara, and it will get easier as I get good equipment. Although it's gonna take time in re-learning how to avoid the insta-kill sniper and rocket enemies that aren't a threat in the cover system of ME2.

Trust me, Biotics ARE Gods as soon as they get the skills. You go solo with a Geth Colossus and win without a scratch. I just love adepts in ME1.

The only problem is you don't have much firepower, so bring Ash or Wrex.
I did an insanity run (It was a NG+) with my sentinel (Tech/biotic powers), and took Tali (tech), and Liara (biotic) for their achievements. Lol, we had so much crowd control that I rarely died, but we were slower to kill things since we had no "combat" person. And I forgot Liara had warp for most of the game. *Smacks forehead*

Yeah, the problem is I'm trying to get the playthrough achievement for those two. I'll probably go with Kaiden and Wrex for my Insanity playthrough.

Lift and Singularity should help you out a lot. Warp to make it go by faster.

after you get all the skills its ALOT easier, you can solo a thresher maw if you have fully upgraded bastion specialization and fully upgraded stasis. and between lift. singularity and throw you can easily have every enemy either floating or on the ground all at the same time with another power ready to go

Adepts are amazing in ME1. So don't worry about it.
