Agreed there is no coming back from the dead...but you definitely have to be confirmed dead for that to work.

And that was the EXACT reason I sacrificed Alistair to Morrigan's little ritual. Now while he has a little demon baby running around somewhere, Leliana and I are doing just great. (Hope Awakening won't screw that up.)

I know because the developers have said several times that there's no coming back from the dead in Thedas. Oh, something might possess your corpse and have it drag its moldy butt around, but if you sacraficed the Warden, they're not coming back.

I killed my entire party except me dog leliana and Morrigan x] Dog was going to be king with me but it turns out the queen rejected my offer so i turned down Morrigan in hopes that she would die but she didnt so i had to die and leave leliana behind, i guess ill meet her in hell xD It would be neat if bioware showed me and leliana dead in an after life in the next dragon age, just for a breif time to give us an explanation of what happend.

I'm not that familiar with the lore but i doubt there's a clear division into hell and heaven. There's just Fade as far as i remember, where you can find good and evil souls/ghosts/demons.

If Leliana is not part of the crew in Awakening (which I don't think she'll be, but I haven't said don't want her to be), I think she'll stay at the keep, taking care of the... religious stuff? I mean, she's still a big believer and there is the urn somewhere there on the far... west.

I think she'll make a rather solid and constant appearance, like Alistair, and indirectly aid the warden, but not join him/her in his/her quest.

several stories she had talked of love mixed with death, like the Andraste and the maker, Andraste returned to his side when she died, and I think that leliana thinked the same thing at the end if your character dies , damn no!!!
