I like Tali's character.

I swear that 8000 reply thread is going to get her killed out of spite in ME3.

Yeah can imagine it now, specially with people complaining about an apparent lack of no real actions/consequences...

ME3, near the end you get the choice of ensuring the reapers can't win or saving Tali from an inevitable death
Then to top it off if you choose the former for a fraction of a moment it shows Tali in trouble, her mask gets smashed and the Tali fans finally get to see her face for a fraction of a second before she gets headshot.

The scariest thing about this, I imagine at least one Tali fan will take 'one for the team' so they can get a screenshot of Talis face just before the explosion. They'll then reload the mission and allow the reapers to destroy everyone.

Now before I get hung, drawn and quartered by the Tali fans, am not a Tali hater, just figured I would respond to this quote.

Actually I have a question for the 'Talimancers', would your Shep die to ensure Tali's survival?

I was on the old forums constantly and the OP is right, Tali was never as popular as she is now - no ME character was. Ever since her role in ME2 her fanbase just exploded:



Almost 400pages and over 9k comments - no other character ever had that much love.

It's quotes like this that tell me that people who hate the people who like Tali are just as bad.  I like Tali as a character, but I'd never go around calling people names who liked another character.  This kind of hate really needs to stop.

That was said as an observation no bias one way or another. It simply comes from the amount of clothes that the models wore and that they were untouchable.  I don't hate tali quite the contrary, I enjoyed the character. I thought that the writers made it a rather nice touch by calling her Tali vas Normandy.

Though I do from your quote see that you were pretty quick to throw in the word hate around quite liberally. Perhaps you are one of the ones that are in the problematic groups.

All the bullship aside where in the hell does it say that to have a quality video game that you must have a love interest. I believe that it actually detracts from the story, after all we are out to save the galaxy not **** people.

Amen to that. Thats why I like her too, she is most normal of the bunch, but not in a bland way.

Imo Tali is one of the most boring characters in both games both in game and personality...

I found her irritating in the first game because I HAD to have her in my team to open stuff.

In ME2: Although I almost never had her on my team, I found her missions to be pretty darn good but mostly she is just... sorry... annoying and... Not as hot as Chuck's secret agent! I LOVE MIRANDA!
