1. Please keep the romanceable characters as playable ones for Mass Effect 3.
Failing that, My personal wants of playable squadmates would be in order of importance
-Tali and Garrus
-Some kind of Geth and Jack
-A decent human male romance (for the ladies)
- An Alistair-like human squadmate would be great, really, any character that has a sense of humour would be great
-Finally the 'one from each race' deal, bonus points if the Asari is Aria T'loak
2. Replace the shift-pause system with shift making another set of hotkeys (so 1,2,3,4... and shift+1, shift+2, shift+3....)
-I feel the shift-pause system is not a good thing, firstly, it breaks up combat, secondly, if you made shift create a second set of hotkeys you could do everything there that pausing the game would do.
Finally, its totally meaningless as any type of 'psuedo-turn based' mechanism since you can't select or even move your mouse over other targets while paused.
-At least have some option to make a second set of hotkeys (shift or ctrl), theres roughly 4/5 personal abilities and 3 for 2 squadmates so you need about 10 easily reachable buttons to use all abilities.
3. Balance the classes better, in particular, please have each class have abilities that have a use in EVERY battle that cannot be replaced with an ability IN THE EXISTING class.
E.g. for the Adept, Throw is totally useless it can be replaced in all its functions like this:
-Pushing enemy back: Shockwave can do this, and is superior since it can hit multiple enemies
-Stunning enemies: Nothing beats pull in this regard except possibly singularity
-Damage: Totally neglible
-Throwing off the cliff: Not enough environments that make this feasible, and even then, shockwave usually can do it.
I'm not asking to replace throw actually, in fact id be in favor of replacing pull with throw in some way, because Pull is way too powerful and Throw is one of the cooler looking powers if you throw them really really hard (basically its the most jedi-esque power)
4. Make the minimap automatically on the screen, seriously...
5. Please create a more substantial and controllable dialogue system, the one from Dragon Age, for example, is superior.
-PLEASE make the pause-skip-dialogue STOP when choices appear (like in dragon age), the number of times i hit pause and made an incorrect choice...
-Romance dialogue please make it more substantial and controllable like Dragon Age, the reason is that i'd like to know when i get to a 'romance stage' so i don't ****** off some other romance squadmate
6.Helmets default off during talking...
7. Your resource gathering minigames suck, really, im sorry i know you like them but their really painful to do, im talking the mako (from ME1) and planet probing one (from ME2).
I really don't know how these minigames got through testing, all i suggest is that you playtest a perfect run (all upgrades, everything) to see what is really repetitive and boring and a chore.
I think the problem is that these don't feel like sidegames, you really have to do a ALOT of them to get all upgrades.
8.Allow auto-run in towns
9.Finally BIGGER AND BETTER for everything else, towns, characters, dialogue etc.
