In the Pylos Nebula there is a system called Satent.
It has a planet that is so close to the sun when you go in to scan it you end up seeing the sun and not the planet, this makes scanning it very hard to do and impossible to scan on the left side since that is where the light is hitting it.
Scanning this planet is a bad idea until something is done to unmerge the sun and the planet, tends to be bad for you eyes to stare at something like this for more then a second.

You could put on some sunglasses... I mean, Bioware expects us, the consumer, to correct any of their screw-ups rather than take care of their own design flaws.

true, going by the vibrations of the controller is pretty much all we need here

found another scannable sun
Wallace in the skepsis system (sigurd's cradle)
it looks like the same planet that was in the other sun so its likely a problem with this model
