Oh, slowed down.

I doubt true Talimancers will stop posting just because we hit 1000 pages.

That's not what my post meant.

opps. I think we both didn't get what we both meant. Posted Image
I meant to say that it'll slow down now because those who are on this thread just to help push to 1000 will probably now not post as much, and those who just want to be on page 1000 will probably leave or drop in a rare post now and then. While those of us who are just here to post about Tali ...well...we don't really care to much what the post count is. Lock the thread...we'll start a new one, keep this one alive (if only to make sure everyone post in once place) and we'll still be here pluging away.
Hope that clarify things.

I understood what you meant.

I'm just cruising through, not the biggest Tali fan by any means. Just saw some post in a few other threads saying how this thread came off as some sort of "in-crowd" thread and I  felt like dropping by to see how "in" it was.

It isn't, at all. Not sure what sort of impression other people got from it, but you only have to like Tali in a simple platonic way to immediately be able to participate in conversations in this thread without contributing an epic or simply massive post. The people here are rather friendly, and I've recieved more responses in this thread than i have in most others, others that I seriously participate in and contribute more thoughtful post to. The only way I could get the feeling of exclusion would be if I ignored all the people making the small post contributions and simply focused on the large-post contributors who have obviously dedicated a large amount of time to crafting that pot specifically for this thread. A tailored response for the fandom that deeply appreciates Tali at a level I do not comprehend but nevertheless respect.

People can get shafted on accident when this thread moves quickly, their questions getting lost in the quickness,

I was intimidated by the speed this thread often moves at, too.  But there's some quality content in here.

Anyways, back to topic.

Tali is the best love interest in ANY video game, as far as I'm concerned, ever.

They didn't. You rescue the entire crew when you hit the collectors base and send an escort to get them safely back to the Normandy.

Mhm. And all the people are very nice. Sure, there's the occasional fanatic - but even those aren't overly annoying. The only jerks I've seen in this thread so far, were anti-Tali-trolls.

If Asari can have kids from any alien race known in Mass effect then a quarian and a human can have kids too.

At the risk of angering all the pro human/quarian childbirths out there no way.... Asari don't have babies with other aliens in the traditional sense, they just use thier DNA as a catalist.  It would be hard to explain how even Turians and Quarions could have children together, and they both are ameno acid based species.

As a note, humans and chimpansees(sp?) are VERY close genetically, but can they produce offspring?  If not, can a quarian and a human?

If you head straight to the relay after they get abducted. Choosing to wait or doing anything else before hand gets them all liquified I think.

Y'know, I actually kind of miss Arrtis.  I got the feeling he just wanted to belong, too.

That happens in my college courses all the time. I'm not sure why people would be surprised or particularly upset by the movement speed of a discussion.

Isn't it a sad thought that someone actually *tried* if humans and monkeys (easier to spell!) can have babies?

Asari do not need physical contact to reproduce, as Liara said in ME1.
Humans do. I suspect that quarians also do.

We all know that because we are so similar, it is possible, but since in real life nobody has ever had sex before with another alien race then its impossible to deny its possible until we have done it. Its just like saying man will never go to the moon 100 years ago yet we did 40 years ago. Same as saying, you can never have kids with the aliens that came to earth 200 years from now yet when the 1st hybrids start comming out, everything is eventually proven wrong. Just like we would never go to the moon, but did. Next is to the stars. We will go to the stars it just hasn't happened yet. Just like man was never ment to fly 100 years ago well not too long ago 100 years ago we made that happen. Nothing is impossibe just because it has never happened yet. It eventually will.
