People can get shafted on accident when this thread moves quickly, their questions getting lost in the quickness

That happens in my college courses all the time. I'm not sure why people would be surprised or particularly upset by the movement speed of a discussion.

Most definitely. You have an awesome name by the way.

Thanks.  I think.

All very true. Well put.  But theres one more thing i think- she was banished from the flotilla and took on the vas normandy title, so unless they were to jus cut her out completely which we all know aint happenin, shes got nowhere else to go but with shepard and the normandy.......Posted Image

She only gets exiled if you screw up talking them out of it.
But if that's what it takes to have Tali as a squadmember in ME3, I'll gladly screw that up.

yea yea true... good thinkin.... i forgot about that but shes still not a member of a ship in the flotilla she belongs to the normandy crew now and shepard says "shes with me" towards the end of that scene so thats where i got off thinkin that they cant really put her anywhere else unless they come up with a storyline inbetween ME2 and ME3 where the flotilla honored her and gave her a ship or somethin but that would be stupid of them as compared to keepin her on the normandy??? idk... i think it makes sense a lil bit.

Actually that's wrong, Chimps(easier and correct) are apes, not monkeys. Two completely different things.

I understood what you meant.

I'm just cruising through, not the biggest Tali fan by any means. Just saw some post in a few other threads saying how this thread came off as some sort of "in-crowd" thread and I  felt like dropping by to see how "in" it was.

It isn't, at all.

Surprised that I'm here?  Get over yourself.

Hey, wadda ya guys think of this?

Posted Image

First, I'm terrible with photoshoping stuff, so take that into consideration, but this is Tali based off of Liz Sroka's face (Not my work, and I'm not trying to take credit. someone else did all of the hard stuff, I just recolored and added some effects to soften the pic a bit)

Any good, or just odd?Posted Image

I knew that, but it's almost 7 AM and english isn't my native language, so when I call chimpanzees "monkeys", that's perfectly acceptable. Hah!
Besides, I'm a biotic god. I'll throw you about like a ragdoll if you disagree with me!

It isn't, at all. Not sure what sort of impression other people got from it, but you only have to like Tali in a simple platonic way to immediately be able to participate in conversations in this thread without contributing an epic or simply massive post. The people here are rather friendly, and I've recieved more responses in this thread than i have in most others, others that I seriously participate in and contribute more thoughtful post to. The only way I could get the feeling of exclusion would be if I ignored all the people making the small post contributions and simply focused on the large-post contributors who have obviously dedicated a large amount of time to crafting that pot specifically for this thread. A tailored response for the fandom that deeply appreciates Tali at a level I do not comprehend but nevertheless respect.

I was intimidated by the speed this thread often moves at, too.  But there's some quality content in here.

That's the nice thing about Bioware's forums. Been here way back since BG2 (though I seldom post back then, was a lot more shy) days and for the most part, the peeps here do understand the RPG crowd whom for the most part are geeks and nerds who enjoy more then anything a good story in a game. More so then action and things blowing up. Posted Image

And there are a few posters whom I notice who do try to make an effort to go back and read every post in a thread. Some like myself who joined the thread late because we didn't want to check out the forums till we finished playing the game (didn't help I choose to take 2 characters through insanity mode) do try to read what we can though sometimes will no doubt miss a post or three.
But for the most part, Bioware's community are mostly filled with the more mature players and posters compared to any other in the gaming industry.

With all of the back door political shifty? I think the only one who would do that would be Hen'Gerrel. Zoris would probably not want to help on the basis that he loves the Geth and Xen had the notion that Rael was in Gerrel's camp regarding the Geth and future war.

[/quote]

Interesting  note about Qwib Qwib I don't think he loves the Geth what I do think is  that he  is the only one on the admiralty that has foresight enough to see that a War with the Geth is suicide. Its a war the that Quarians simply can not win. There fleet is centuries old, there are not going to get help from  any of Council races, they barely have enough resources to  keep the  fleet going.    War with the Geth  could very well mean the extinction of the Quarians as race..

Thanks.  I think.

That makes it more awesome, or less, depending on how you view nuclear weapons testing, I suppose.

Alocormin wrote...
That's good that you find it so.  But I
was one of the ones saying that, and I still stand by my impressions as
being valid.  That was my first impression of this thread.  Crusade and
blab about injustice all you want, that's a cop-out, and another way to
exclude people.

I am not crusdading or blabbing about injustice at all and I would like to know what gave you  that impression, because my post had little, if anything, to do with the words or actions of which you speak according to my interpretation of my words. I could be wrong, I suppose, but I would find that exceedingly odd, accordingly.

Alocormin wrote...

That
is very much less productive than your original post and much more
provocative. I had no intention of attacking you or people who think
like you. If I did, i would have done so directly and without
restraint. I have no fear of letting my opinion on a subject be known.

I know, that's what I used, that's why I'm not taking any credit. I just recolored it to make it look a little more alien, and softened the edges so it doesn't look so much like a photoshop job (Tho i prolly failed at that horribly) and was wondering if any thought it was any better
