haha i thought it was a bit strange a gangster disciple was posting on the tali fan page lol
but that makes more sense now

I know EA did not pull any punches with that game...I am never going look at   some parts of the female anatomy the same way again after playing that game... They really did take you to Hell.

I tried the demo for that game on the xbox 360 and I just had to delete it after 5 minutes of playing it. I mean, I liked the darker and edgier stuff they added to Mass Effect 2, generally, but Dante's Inferno just shows you when too much is too much. That thing is ridiculous. I'm good with fighting space bugs... in space. Also the space zombies.

For starters, the romance was a slow-burn (rather than most others which seemed rushed).
She starts off as a sort of archetypical "damsel in distress" and you save her, like a knight rescuing the princess. This theme is repeated in ME2. Shepard even viewed her once as "Quarian royalty".
She nevertheless proves to almost always be the most necessary character. In ME1, she has the data needed to expose Saren. In ME2, she's the first old teammate you meet and is present when the threat of the Collectors is exposed.

She confesses to having loved you since ME1, but felt you'd never see her for her true self.
There's the societal and biological hurdles to overcome. They could have settled for something "less", but it was Tali that wouldn't give you anything but herself, fully and completely, skin to skin.
All the way up until the moment you two spend the night together, she tries to tell you to be "happy" with someone else, someone "easier" to love. She'd rather be miserable so long as you'd be happy.
She risks her very life to love you. Beyond just the suicide mission, she could have done what Liara or Ashley/Kaidan did and refused to join you. She had her own missions but she put those aside. Even when she was accused of treason, she told you to stand up for her on YOUR time. She's utterly selfless.
She remains feisty, intelligent, and assertive, as evidence by her strong views of the Admiralty board, her threats to the racist Volus, and her strong opinion of Legion being on the squad. She feels like a unique individual with a few chinks in her armor.

She is full of mystique and mystery. Her people have a long and storied history, both of losing their planet, of their creation and war with the geth, of their pilgrimages and nomadic lifestyles, of their immune systems, their appearances, all great lore and mythology to follow. Keelah Seh'lei.
She's the only teammate that EVER does anything social with you. She'll play cards with you and the other engineers. She's also the only teammate you ever comfort as strongly as you do during her moment of greatest need.

Also, more than any other teammate, she comes across as the one that most strongly LOVES you. Unconditionally. She'll butt heads with you, but more than the others she'll trust you. She'll join you even though you're working with an enemy of her people. She'll trust you even if you bring Legion aboard the Normandy. She'll trust you fully because, more than her own feelings, she WANTS to be with you.
She's dependable, faithful, loving, caring, trusting, gentle, strong, charming, considerate, intelligent, resourceful, clever, sincere, and, for lack of any better word, BEAUTIFUL, both inside and (likely) outside.
And that makes her a girl that seems simply too good to be true... and the reason why she not only deserves 1000 pages of respect, love, and admiration... but several thousand pages more.

Girls like this simply don't come along often enough, and that makes her special beyond compare.

Miranda = Boobs and Nook  and ya, she's the obvious fast draw romance. Not bad but like a ham sandwhich, its not that filling.
Jack = Some effort needed to get under her skin. Emotional Manipulation or investment depending on whether you are renegade or paragon so her romance I would equate to a cafe meal. Satisfying but you know you could have had better.
Tali = Full ten course meal.
