Yeah, lvl 50 carries over with a very similar starting, 53500 of each resource and 300000 credits, lvl 3 start, I *think* lvl 60 carries you over into lvl 5 starting or the like, in addition to some more resources and credits, although I cannot say for sure.

well my new chars start with 50k and 200k credits so not a huge dif. My last playthrough after doing all the side missions I had like 250k credits extra, and I only mine rich planets still had way to many resources.

lvl 60 import almost seems unneccesary, a lvl 50 import lets you get to 30 easily and gives you way too many supplies. But naturally im doing the same thing as you, completion for completions sake eh?

I imported a level 52 soldier who had millions of credits (maxed out I think), 1 Renegade point and a full Paragon bar. I'm confident I played all the side-missions along with the main missions in ME3 and I was just short of level 29 (I had passed the level 28 threshold). Now I'm playing through the game again and sadly the enemies have scaled to my now level 30 character (he became level 30 after his first face-to-face meeting with TIM). It's a bit of a downer because I now have an entire game to look forward too where nothing except my weapons and some squad mates' will improve. I would have preferred a higher level cap limit and more skill trees to develop. I do think ME1 did that better than ME2.

Aye, there are way too many resources in the galaxy, but it makes sense i suppose. no reason to strip mine the entire galaxy to fund your projects :)

Weapons shouldn't be improving for you if you imported your ME2 character. Soon as you can use the armory on the Normandy you have full access to all your old weapons and when y ou do the derelict collector ship you will not get to pick a weapon/training

lol tell me about it. This forum likes to fly, and I am still trying to do another play through of ME1. Currently have Feros done and working on all the little side missions on the citadel before i start hitting the side missions in all the systems. I want my level 60 Paragon shepard for importing... and I never did get to see the Ashley love scene, always did no LI or Liara

Considering what Liarra has become, I am now thinking of replaying ME1 and going for Ashley (I can swallow Ash's bigotry more easily then Liarra's manic obsession) and leaving Liarra till the last. Worth it anyways to see Liarra go psychotic on you when you first appear to save her.

Yeah, as much fun as ME 2 was to play, I have to agree with you, the leveling and skill system in ME 1 seemed much more rewarding on multiple plays.

Aye, that's how it went for my ME1 level 52 character. Given the tighter use of both money and items to purchase I do wonder whether we'll see a similar perk for transfered characters in ME3? Seems a bit unlikely. Personally I prefer ME1's money and items-available-for-purchasing system (although the customizable armors in ME2 is a splendid idea, IMO).

If you walk the Paragon path, you may come to find that Ashley's bigotry becomes less pronounced with the passage of time. She is not stupid and far from hopeless. :)

Wrex: Nice shot! Ooo head shot! Got another one! Bet that hurt!

I have full access to my old armory yet it appears that the upgrades I did to my armor and weapons disappeared after starting a second play through for ME2.

Ex. My suit no longer holds 7 medi gel applications but only 3 and the targeting and damage of my Revenant seems off compared to what I recall from "Suicide Run". Still, that may be partly due to my memory playing tricks on me. I'll find out soon enough.

hehe that mission was kinda strange, I ran into the monkeys before I searched the probe. So as far as I could tell, the game had me searching monkeys for no particular reason, was a little worried about shepard then...

Oh yea thought you meant getting the weapons your right. Did anyone else notice that you can have 6/6 heavy weapons ammo upgrades but it starts out with 1/5 and such?

Or add a way for us to trade resources for cash. That way those who are inclined to go out and mine resources can opt to sell any they don't need for cash to fund fuel, probes and upgrades, not to mention my damn fishes which keeps dying on me because I forgot to feed them.

I would love to see a resource trade market on like Illium or the Citadel... I always have like 200k palladium and 20k platinum it seems

It's more enjoyable taking Garrus and Wrex. Gotta love renegade characters.

My first playthrough was with a character not even at level 50, still seemed to do alright. The revenant machine gun was weird to use at first (ratchets fire upwards) but once you upgraded it, it was an excellent gun, especially with inferno ammo.

Well what really got me about that mission was that I hadnt read any walkthroughs and I had totally forgotten why I was on the planet, so to me it seemed like Shepard just really wanted to search some monkeys >.<
