yes, I believe the way to post a image is [img]link[/ img] ((minus the space in the last section)) There is also a way to post an image as a link, but for the life of me, I dont remember it

When you say "second bracket" are you referring to [img=[i]] [/i]or are you referring to the second bracket at the end of the code? I'm going to need a type out here (with spaces as necessary).

Damn it all to hell. Why can't they just keep it simple and use the exact same layout as they do with links, except for the changes of "url" to "img"?

I believe you need to replace the last bit [=img]  to [/img]

The link itself is simple enough once you know it: [ url=inserturl]typewhatevertitleyouwant[ /url] *minus the spaces in the brackets. Like this:

The equals sign right before the http, the first part should read [img] followed by the link. My apologies for the confusion

I started saving the pics I like in the forums to my HD then I uploaded them into the albums on My content. Much easier to open the album select the pic right click and "Copy target location" then i can just paste it into the
[ img ] link [ /img ] no spaces on the brackets

How did you do it? I tried ctrl + C and then ctrl +V and it posted the
pic in my text box, but didn't display it when it was posted on the
thread.

Speaking of such things, and I was of this opinion before the img brouhaha, I don't find BioWare's forum particularly user friendly nor easy to navigate. Half the time I'm taken back to the OP instead of returning to the last entry point I was at. Annoying.

well I am using Firefox for my browser dunno what your using. I have 3 tabs open usually. 1 for my blog that i am writing on 1 for my album and 1 for here. If i want to post a pic i just copy the location For that pic i used [ img ] http://social.biowar...66514/18168.jpg [ /img ] to post it from my album on the forums

Hmm, but is there a way to post a picture, which itself is a link to the pictures location. Where by clicking the image it would take you to the location.

Same with me. My motives for doing so are OFC Tali herself, but also the very Mass Effect universe. It is a big step in RPG gaming. I doubt if there will be a game better than Mass Effect 1,2, not mentioning ME3. The character details, their very personalities were made so great, that many people could express themselves by those characters. The environment so much fantasy, byt also with many plausible things that may happen in the future. Not just someone's sick imagination. That's really worth discussing!

GARGH! I don't even get that "Copy target location" option. Are you using XP, Windows 7 or other? And this is why I don't bother with programming. At all. lol

I think its just because its a beta forum (isn't it?) in the early stages, I assume it will get better over time.

Cant post em directly from the HD have to have em uploaded on the web. The problem is you had the directory typed wrong. there was an extra [ in the destination name.

I use FireFox too. I think I see what the problem was now. Still, I'll leave programming to others. I appreciate some of the results but the process itself holds very little interest for me.
