I don't know something is telling me  that there is something more to Reapers than what we know already. This cycle of the reapers wiping out all life has been happening for millions of the years   So when did the cycle start... what started the Cycle..Who  started the Cycle, what is a Reaper really?. Those ships that you see are just shells maybe another  race that had reach  their "Destiny".  More were  are they coming from, Citadel is a massive Mass Effect Rely... It has to connect somewhere another Galaxy perhaps. They are way too many unanswered  question to be charging headlong in to  Massive Space battle with Reapers... To many unanswered question that need answering.

Or it could be a result of a very bad mistake on the race that created the reapers. To make it even more tragic, say an error in the original AI's coding. I am thinking of what the reapers keep saying, "We are your salvation through destruction." Which could have been simply that they were meant to originally be protectors but something made them decide to search for the "best" that organic life has to offer every galactic generation (give or take 50,000 years) and to test them to see if they are worth saving and by being "saved" by turning them into reapers.

In essense each Reaper is made from the race it destroyed and this in a sick way meant that this race lives on, only as a Reaper. To the reaper it has saved you eventhough you don't appreciate its efforts.

Or it could be something totally different, a bigger badder thing in the universe that they are meant to fight and whatever you are doing now just doesn't gel with them. Only that that bigger badder thing is almost upon this galaxy which is why they woke up and started to move.

Personally I prefer the first option as it's more logical. If that made sense.:D

Alright, a real hard question for all of you fellow Tali Lovers

What if the TIM says he has a way to make sure Tali can live without a suit and not get sick. The process will definately work, no risk involved "Shepard we brought you back from the dead... adapting a Quarian is child's play compared to that" Just like how he did not put a control chip in you, he gives you his word he will not cause any modification on Tali except for giving her the ability to live without the suit (ie bolstered normal immune system). The price, you join Cerberus and listen to his advice.

Do you accept his offer? No easy answer of "What Tali wants!" That is the easy answer. So to raise the ante.. she has an infection and has a 50/50 chance of making it through. Decide.

Hmm...I was thinking about writing some more...maybe something like "who will babysite shepard and tali's child?".
....Jack? ...Better not thinking about it.
....Legion? Tali would never allow it.
....
....
Morinth?...I am jocking. No need to say that I am insane.

Not to dash any dreams but, I love this girl as much as the next Tali fan but:

1) ME does not abide to the Trek rule of if it breaths it can interbreed. Even races that share chirality can not.

2) Chirality, even if for some odd reason Quarians and humans were similiar genetically to allow it (not likely because of appearence, and see point 1), our DNA would not react well. Because of Chirality. In short their entire amino acid structure is "the other way around". The only foods the two races can share are simple sugars, anything more complex than startch (or that contains any amino acids) will cause allergic reactions to not the intended function.

Actually there is a joke in Eternity about that, how a human was trying to convince a Quarian to go natural because there was no risk.

I will give Bioware credit for that, first time I learn of Biochemical Chirality in my Biochem class 101.. I wonder if I will ever see it in a sci-fi story or game... and viola.. Bioware did it.

I know it'snot possible scientificaly for a shep/tali kid, but it's kinda funny to consider the chracters after the game. I mean regardless of where the kid came from shep+any li or adoption based on shep's group of squadmates the kids gonna grow up a lil messed up (assuming an ending of the game with a kiddy shep)

Couldn't ask for a better group of people to watch your back though. :)

No, absolutely not. TIM is not to be trusted, not by paragon or renegade. He is just that type that could betray anyone. My Shepard would manhunt TIM, would he even suggest it.

That is not my decision to make. It is one Tali'Zorah and I/Shepard would have to discuss and reach agreement on. Ultimately both sides retain the power to break the deal. Tali because it's her body. Me/Shepard because I/he has to give acceptance. It's somewhat similar to pregnancy: I think both parties ought to be involved in the decision, yet once the pregnancy is achieved it is ultimately the bearer of the child (i.e. Tali in regards to the above scenario) that may have the final word since she holds the physically real-term "goods".

Damn, this is a good one!! =]

Hmm, if TIM asked me this question AFTER the Reapers had been defeated, yes, I'd join Cerberus.

If he asked this in the beginning of the game, I'm not sure...

I know! I would ask for Tali's opinion, and I would make my decision based on that.

I gotta go eat, fellas, be right back!

EDIT: oops didn't notice that part...

I seriously doubt Tali would even consider it, it would be an instant "NO!". Quarians hate Cerberus, Tali hate Cerberus, she wouldn't trust TIM.

We have some of the most brilliant minds in the galaxy working with us. Miranda has access to Cerberus files (given that TIM hasen't cut her access since I told him to take a flying leap), so why can't we make this happen without him. If we could do it with one, hell, it might help to eventually get the quarians out of their enviro-suits.

To answer the question though, No. I don't trust TIM any further then I could throw him and it felt damn good to finally lay into him.

I bet TIM is truly frustrated if you destroy the reper/collector base i mean he spent so much building you and the normandy not only do you steal that you take his 2 best operatives and a boatload of the best scientist and merc's you can get your hands on + Tali and legion, if there was gonna be a breakthrough to cure quarian immune systems (well repair or improve them..) itd be on the normandy, but it TIM found away it'd make a good bargaining chip to get his project back.

That idiot had it comming. Bringing Shepard back the way he was, if he was a paragon ,  and NOT expect Shepard to betray him?  I guess he is just the arrogan/ignorant type that thinks he can control anyone.

Betraying TIM was one of the best parts in ME 2, very enjoyable.

IMO there wouldn't be any bargain :P my Shepard would "rain down in a godly ****ing firestorm upon him" and just steal the cure/tech to create the cure.

I dont see how any shepard could completely trust TIM my renegade didnt made it extremly enjoyable to stab him in the back at the last minute gotta love biowares writing though i was guessing how the ending would go kept expecting some cereberus betrayal right up to the last minute.

Of course he's frustrated. I know I wouldn't be thrilled if I watched 4 billion+ dollars fly off into space after telling me to screw off. Not that I'm taking his side at all. As I said, the most enjoyable part of the game was telling TIM to take a hike, AND I'm taking his ship. It was almost as gratifying as cutting off the Council when they would question what I was doing...almost.

I can see it, Tali would definately say no. Mordin probably tries to reassure he could make sure they can be trusted for this one thing (my previous comment earlier). Tali stills says no, and then says she has the utmost confidence in Chakwas and Mordin to save her. Mordin, takes a deep breath feeling the pressure and showing appreciation for the confidence they have in him.

We can round off the whole heart touching scene with Legion telling Shepard after that they hope Creator Tali'Zorah will recover. Man, just thinking of it.. is heart-wrenching.
