I can see it, Tali would definately say no. Mordin probably tries to reassure he could make sure they can be trusted for this one thing (my previous comment earlier). Tali stills says no, and then says she has the utmost confidence in Chakwas and Mordin to save her. Mordin, takes a deep breath feeling the pressure and showing appreciation for the confidence they have in him.
We can round off the whole heart touching scene with Legion telling Shepard after that they hope Creator Tali'Zorah will recover. Man, just thinking of it.. is heart-wrenching.

Thatd make for some truly amazing ME scenes up their with THE HUG. can see it now Shep pacing up and down the corridor in the crew deck as the op takes place, garrus offering some form of pep talk.

THE HUG was a heart-warming scene. That'd have to be alot of screen work and dialouge to recapture what made that scene so great to begin with. It's hard to put into words how much I actually enjoyed and was sucked into that moment. When I talk to my friends, who don't really get the facsination with Tali, all I can really say is "You just...had to be there."

I bet TIM is truly frustrated if you destroy the reper/collector base i mean he spent so much building you and the normandy not only do you steal that you take his 2 best operatives and a boatload of the best scientist and merc's you can get your hands on + Tali and legion, if there was gonna be a breakthrough to cure quarian immune systems (well repair or improve them..) itd be on the normandy, but it TIM found away it'd make a good bargaining chip to get his project back.

That idiot had it comming. Bringing Shepard back the way he was, if he was a paragon ,  and NOT expect Shepard to betray him?  I guess he is just the arrogan/ignorant type that thinks he can control anyone.

Betraying TIM was one of the best parts in ME 2, very enjoyable.

I did that first, and then I felt that despite TIM's ulterior motives he had given Shepard a fairer shake than most anyone else in galaxy was willing to do at the time, even some of Shepard's old allies. So I reloaded, re-did "Suicide Run" and chose the neutral option where I tell TIM that I did as he wanted and that was that. No need to burn all bridges; we're going to need all the help we can get in the upcoming battle and TIM, along with Cerberus, may yet prove useful without compromising whom we are as Paragons. Besides, no need to be impolite out of sheer spite given what TIM and Cerberus did do for Shepard irrespective of what they also stood to gain from it, IMO.

Epic. :o Then, when it has finally been done, and Tali can be without her mask, Shepard comes into the room and they begin cuddling... "I'm free, Shepard... finally..." <3 *tears and kisses*

Heck...I wouldn't let TIM anywhere near Tali. Unless she insists it, and even then I wouldn't feel very good about it. Plenty of Salarian scientists around

When I played it the first time, I did as TIM said. But after the mission I talked to my crewmates and they weren't happy about it. I trust my crew more than I could ever trust TIM, and I know, that even without the Reaper technology, I can beat the Reapers, with my loyal teammates by my side.

Alright, a real hard question for all of you fellow Tali Lovers

What if the TIM says he has a way to make sure Tali can live without a suit and not get sick. The process will definately work, no risk involved "Shepard we brought you back from the dead... adapting a Quarian is child's play compared to that" Just like how he did not put a control chip in you, he gives you his word he will not cause any modification on Tali except for giving her the ability to live without the suit (ie bolstered normal immune system). The price, you join Cerberus and listen to his advice.

Do you accept his offer? No easy answer of "What Tali wants!" That is the easy answer. So to raise the ante.. she has an infection and has a 50/50 chance of making it through. Decide.

No on both counts as paragon / renegade as this stinks of being a slave to Cerberus. If nothing else, both Tali and Shepard hates the idea of being held hostage to anyone. Shepard will work to find a cure and now that he knows this is possible, location of the data. Paragon Shepard will let Tali decide if they would raid TIM's medical facility for the data or find another way, while Renegade Shepard will just kick the medical facilities doors down first and then later ask Tali if she wants the procedure done.

Here's another thought. If Tali is stripped of the thing that makes her Quarian (the suit and weak immune system), would she be as appealing? The new Tali 2.0

Personaly I can't find any reason why my perspective would change. How about the rest of you?

You do realise even free of the suit... she might just still wear it. Comfort, too used to it. Just for safety, just in case. Or just to avoid the "OMG! A Quarian without their suit!" stares and shock in public places. But having the choice to remove it without risking her health, would still be very welcomed. That also means.. Shepard is gonna get jumped even more often now.. can he keep up!

Well, in that case we would've already seen her face. We don't know what her face looks like. So... hard to tell!

I mean, if we had seen her face in ME1 and she'd been ugly, we probably wouldn't have romanced her in ME2.

But assuming that she is hot as hell, yes, of course she'd be as appealing. Maybe even more? =]

I am pretty sure he can. Since if I am not wrong, Cerberus did give Shepard a little boost to his regenerative / healing powers in order to get his organs and other squishy bits of his body working again, yes?
Now how this actually effects his ability to perform, I  am pretty sure Tali knows but won't be saying anything to anyone at the moment.

Yeah, you make good points. As you say, even though wearing the suit, out of preference, it would be nice for Tali to have the option to remove it, without risking her health.

For me it's just like intersect said - personality. I didn't really "fall" for the her mask.

And she could make love to Shepard whenever she wanted. =] Without taking loads of antibiotics and stuff.

Of course it's the personality. But seriously. If you had seen her face on the citadel in ME1 when you met, and she looked like darth vader when he takes his mask off, would you romance her? I'm sure you'd at least consider it a couple of times.

I'd still feel the same, but I doubt she will ever be able to be out of the suit for long periods of time. Plus, I wouldn't want her to be... having her risk her health like that, I could not do.

TIM would do something to control Tali, hypnosis, word suggestion, "Would you kindly-" Oh Sh-

I would never trust that sick monster, and any of men on his payroll... except Zaeed. Shepard, is a Sole Survivor, and would never, ever, EVER, willingly go along with anything that TIM, miranda, or jacob suggests. Kelly wants to go see her mother who'll meet us at these coordinates? Sure, no problem, lets just lock that in.... (waits a few moments) Ok we're there, go wait in the airlock.

*taps feet*

EDI, open the airlock...

I would stay by Tali's side 24/7, until i know that she's ok. The STG, exogeni corp (those guys have to owe me some favors) I've got a few cards i can play, that should tip the 50/50 scale.
