Then those of you whom don't wish to see her face can shut your eyes when her face reveal scene comes along. I will be enjoying every moment of it and likely replaying it several times.
Easy solution, give us a choice. Simple as that.
This, please.

You actually care that match to see her face?
It personally wouldn't bother me if we never see it, but most do care that much.
Blasphemy!

Alright, I gotta be going now. Long day ahead, but after today...easy 4 day weekend for me!
Thought I would pose one question to everyone though, get some more discussion going: What combo of pre-service history and psychological profile for a male Shepard do you think Tali would be most compatible with/find most appealing? I know it doesn't really matter that much, especially in creating extra dialogue (none to date as far as Tali goes) but it's something I have been thinking about. I thought Spacer would be good, spending your whole life aboard ships like she has. Colonist also poses the situation where you know what it's like to have no parents either. Could get some interesting mixes I guess.
Anyways, have fun guys, 1100 pages by tonight? Keelah Se'lai!
I agree with the spacer, definitely something in common between you then.
As far as psych goes, i reckon any would do. As anyone who's read my fics I know I tend to lean towards a more ruthless, uncompromising kinda Shep but to be honest whatever background you pick it all carries with it trauma and mental scars that Tali would be more than happy to heal.
Sole Survivor seems the best choice, survived impossible odds, but lost people who were important to him.
Earthborn. Lost everyone important to him, but joined the military at his first chance, Beecause he wanted to make a difference, He wanted to support humanity. Just as she wants to hold the entirely of the migrant fleet on her shoulders.
*hugs Tali* i want to ease that burden on her soul, on her heart...
Earthborn doesn't understand family like Tali does, I think. But I personally like the choice.

That also works, but if push came to shove I would relentlessly pursue a reveal of her face and remain unapologetic for it.

Shepard is still pretty beat up unless you go Paragon or get the medlab upgrade. I mean, his face is still has got some very visable signs of scarring and I started to wonder. Does Tali dig guys with scars?

The "I have a shotgun" line is highly overused. Try to save it untill a few chapters in, if at all.
And use "Bash'tet" properly, used like SOB rather than "frackin". Also, Tali rarely swears, when she does a lot in fanfics it dosnt seem that much like her.
But for the most part the fanfics have been good, keep em coming guys.

War Hero for service record. Tali likes heroes. But yeah, probably Spacer for background.
Agreed, and I also think Tali much prefers the "nice and kind guy" in general.

Well most people are Paragon, and the medlab upgrade is cheap, so I dont think this is a big issue.Raniall wrote...

I think it likely has far more to do with the personality and charisma Shepard exudes. Have you ever met a person where as you came to know them some of their perceived physical flaws began to recede in your conscious mind because you'd begun to perceive them in a different light and value them for other traits?

I'd hardly call 50,000 credits for that upgrade "cheap".

Hypothetical question then. Alignment did not change what your face looked like and there was no medbay upgrade to eventually fix them. Is Tali a chick that digs scars?

You know what else would be nice? Another 300 hours of gameplay in ME2 so I could forget about my ****ty life. Anyone else feel like that.
Also; Keelah Se'lai, Tali FTW, etc etc.
What did I miss?
You speak the truth.
Now how about another chapter :3
Yeah yeah, another chapter will be up hopefully tonight.
I dunno how well it's going down apart from the comments from the few 'hardcore' readers that are on my friends list.
Anyone else have any comments, critique?
Link is in my sig, below the Tali-banner. (That sounded so wrong)

Tali: Eeep!!

I looked at it the other direction: I mean, Shep gets off the streets. He was surprised to see Finch again in ME1. It was something he left behind, and in general Shepard doesn't seem to leave anyone behind.Lord_Moose wrote...

Earthborn is the "renegade" choice. It's debatable exactly what the being in the Reds taught him.

Actually I'm not viewing it as a physical "flaw" at all. Scars are often seens as badges of honor and courage, and some women simply like scars. I'm just tossing the question out there.

I think being in the Reds simply taught him how to survive. Did he probably do some things that were against the law? Maybe. The Reds taught him how to survive and fight in the face of the toughtest adversity and may have even taught him how to be a leader a little.
