You know, Quarian fingers look sorta claw-ish. That combined with the chicken legs makes me think that they might look like big chicken-people.
Totally gives a new meaning to "hot chick".

Ouch, Raniall, last year, in our pathetic excuse for a mall, the snow was packed up in a couple pile, easily over 25 ft. high, it was... interesting.

Oh look. It's my car a week ago. The East Coast would like to thank you for taking all that snow for us.
Yeah, everybody, BUT Maine got like 10 metric tons of snow, which is weird, seeing how its FREAKIN' MAINE!
My girlfriend grew up in Portsmith and her exact words concerning the last week have been "Alright, this is enough snow". When the person from Maine says its alot of snow, its alot of snow.
Sir, it is indeed just too much, when one of us has had too much... wait how much was there... i pity you....

Alright, I gotta be going now. Long day ahead, but after today...easy 4 day weekend for me!
Thought I would pose one question to everyone though, get some more discussion going: What combo of pre-service history and psychological profile for a male Shepard do you think Tali would be most compatible with/find most appealing? I know it doesn't really matter that much, especially in creating extra dialogue (none to date as far as Tali goes) but it's something I have been thinking about. I thought Spacer would be good, spending your whole life aboard ships like she has. Colonist also poses the situation where you know what it's like to have no parents either. Could get some interesting mixes I guess.
Anyways, have fun guys, 1100 pages by tonight? Keelah Se'lai!
I agree with the spacer, definitely something in common between you then.
As far as psych goes, i reckon any would do. As anyone who's read my fics I know I tend to lean towards a more ruthless, uncompromising kinda Shep but to be honest whatever background you pick it all carries with it trauma and mental scars that Tali would be more than happy to heal.
Sole Survivor seems the best choice, survived impossible odds, but lost people who were important to him.
Earthborn. Lost everyone important to him, but joined the military at his first chance, Beecause he wanted to make a difference, He wanted to support humanity. Just as she wants to hold the entirely of the migrant fleet on her shoulders.
*hugs Tali* i want to ease that burden on her soul, on her heart...
Earthborn doesn't understand family like Tali does, I think. But I personally like the choice.

The way I see it, there are many possibilities that could appeal to her, in different ways. Here's just a few I have thought of:
1. Spacer and Sole Survivor: Spacer, for your shared past of life on the move aboard a ship; Sole Survivor for showing the will to survive no matter what, something the Quarians in general seem quite in tune with. I would also note here that for my personality, Sole Survivor fits me more than the others, as I'm the kind of guy who likes to get out into nature a bit, and I could see myself screwing up out there more than I could as a War Hero or Ruthless soldier. That's just me though.
2. Spacer and War Hero: Spacer for same reasons as before, and War Hero for the paragon boost. Definitely boosts the 'good guy' personality. I guess Tali, or any Quarian really, would like the idea of a selfless war hero, and one who is known for excellence in combat.
3. Colonist and Sole Survivor: Colonist for the somewhat-shared feeling between Shepard and Tali of a lost family, builds the agenda that they have both gone through some serious family trouble, and are closer despite such losses. Sole Survivor for previously stated reasons.
4. Colonist and War Hero: One intereting note here, one that goes past Tali at least, is that this is also a very pro-colonist background, something that I would think would play a big role in character's perceptions of Shepard in ME2. Born a colonist, nearly killed himself, then turned into an Alliance War Hero who saves a human colony nearly single-handedly...quite the profile for the guy stopping the Collectors from abducting more Colonists. Anyways, as far as for Tali, I hold the same reasons as before for both cases.
5. All the others: Honestly I don't see the other option combos as 'good' as these 4 I mentioned here. Just my opinion of course, but Earthborn and Ruthless seem something less appealing to Tali, not cause they're bad and renegade necessarily, but they hold the least in common with Tali and her life.
Just some thoughts on my part. Really, this preservice history will only affect each individual on a more personal level if anything, as we have not seen any special dialogue at all with Tali regarding any of Shepard's past. More for aesthetics and speculaton, really.
*snipped earlier stuff for forum's sake*

I dunno Tali seems pretty Ruthless when it comes to the Geth. I could see her being attracted to that kind of a personality as well if pushed over the course of both campaigns. Don't forget thou that Quarians are fairly selfless. They will do whatever they have to for the sake of the fleet as Tali's father proved. He felt what he was doing was for the good of his entire people and that is why he did what he did. Didn't even leave Tali an "I love you" because the research was more important at the time and possibly because the Geth cut him off.
Earthborn could also appeal to Tali just because you started out from nothing and grew to be the inspiration for your entire species as she saw in ME1. You have to admit a street rat becoming a Spectre would be impressive to most women. There has to be something worth having if you have come that far.
