Xboxer here, too. I played the first Mass Effect on Xbox, so I wanted to get the 2nd for Xbox as well. And I'll also get the 3rd for Xbox, even though us "consoleros" are pulling the short straw.



Can you imagine? Cheating Tali into your game as soon as you get the Normandy, and her actually having stuff to say on all the other recruitment missions, like Archangel, Grunt and so on! I HATE not having that option!

After enjoying so much of the fanfic floating around this thread, I decided to attempt to write some myself. Comments and criticism is appreciated.

Yeah.  I loved that.  I felt so bad for her that I could not help her out more.  I loved shoving that stupid volus around and telling off that frigging C-Sec officer. 

Next time I am DEFINITELY saving it so I can bring Tali.

If you're just playing through to change a few things for ME2 imports, no way.  It pretty much just unlocks new weapons and armor that you really don't need.

spent 2 grand on mine at the time. 2 512 mb nvidia 9800 gtx vid cards and a 3.0 ghz quad core processor with a 1.5tb harddrive and windows 7 ultimate. runs like a champ

hate steam, had a credit billing issue over Dawn of Discovery, they locked my account so I couldnt play like 8 other games I had registered on there. 5 months later after they HAVE BEEN PAID they still havent unlocked the account. I had to reinstall all the games without steam. Will never buy another digital download

great style for a prologue minor suggestion, dont write the entire fanfic about the missions in the game thou be original, reading about missions that you did in the game takes away the suprise element

Technically, you can get Tali as the first squad member without mods, just do sidequests until you have to go to Horizon. Side quests advance the plot "Mission Quota" as much as main quests do. Though, you do have me beat at being able to get Legion early.

Has anyone tried just doing sidequests?  If this would work, that'd be awesome.

Seriously? That's awesome, thanks! I'll do that on my next playthrough. Does a 3 step sidequest advance that "Mission Quota" as much as 1 recruitment quest, or does it actually count as 3?

id rather have the cd then the steam version to tell you the truth , the reason i use steam is that you can find alot of cheap games and get them QUICK , that and the groups , like the tali group i was in , on a side note , i hate windows live.
