I felt bad for leaving Tali behind so much with Adrian (my Insanity playthrough, fresh from ME1), so I took her along to do Samara's loyalty quest. I assume she was cool with me being bait for an absurdly powerful asari that could eat my head.



I'm debating on whether or not I want to take her on Legion's. As a biotic, I need a tank, but this is one of those places she'd actually be really helpful.

Haha yeah, thats one thing I hate about doing other people's loyalty missions -- She's totally ignored in them.



I know, I know, its mainly focused on the different character, but it makes me sad when she gets ignored.



For example -- Thane's loyalty mission, when you're up in the deck above watching the turian. What's Tali doing?!



Shep: Alright thane I see him, moving out!

Thane: Got him! Keep on him!

I know liara acts like a ***** but I still feel bad for her, sheis the one who rescued your body, she also breaks down inn ME2 and explains everything and tells you that she still cares about you( if she as your LI) I skipped over the dialog by accident on my first playthrough, but have seen a vid of it, felt bad for judging her as harshly as I did, but that still isnt a total excuse, Tali went through so much, btu she hasnt become a *****.

Yeah thats something I love about Tali. We know she started to develop feelings for Shepard since they first met, and over time it just grew to the point in ME2 where they become open about it. She talks about that a few times, and even Kelly says its obvious.

I always felt like, my Shepard and Tali felt strongly for each other since they met but they always had something in their way, Tali knew she was starting to feel that way but needed to focus on her pilgrimage, and my Shepard knew this, and had a bit of a fling with Liara. But Tali was the one who was there for him through everything, and even in death she never gave up on him

Its like she always had some hope that he would come back one day, even if she knew it was just a pipedream she always hoped she could see my Shepard again, and then they had that breathless moment in the middle of a warzone on Freedom's Progress. She always cared about my Shep and NEVER lost home. Not even death could break that hold and when they finally got back together on the Normandy, all those feelings over the years, the trust and the growing love came out

Tali's is the most realistic and true love interest in the, the other Li's seem to develop way to fast. imo, not taht I dont like Liara, just Tali and Shepard seem to share a more "true love"

Tali wasnt a full-blown LI in ME1 b.c Bioware wasnt sure how people would react to her, but we can see in there conversations during the game that she has some interest in Shep, which was probably Biowares way of testing the waters and setting up a premise for a future relationship. Then Tali was added as an LI due to overwhelming user demand, and now, here we are, talking about the most real love interest of any video game ever ever everB)

Hey, Marine ol' buddy. I know it sounds great, but another thing to remember is.... you may want someone that cute and innocent, but the reality of it is: You'd have to corrupt her. If she were innocent her entire life, your relationship would go nowhere.

Gauging from your words above, you and me both my friend. I've been privileged enough to have shared romantic relationships with a handful of women that were/are very special and IMO easily out pace the standard in many different areas. I've travelled extensively, lived on three different continents, earned different university degrees, served in the military, held menial back breaking jobs as well as white collar office career ones too. I've walked in the African wilderness in the dead of night with hyenas and lions in the vicinity, climbed and skiied on some of the world's biggest mountains. I used to cover enough flyer miles that I could have travelled around the world twice a year when combined. I've seen dead bodies, some soaked in a pool of their own blood. I've had good times and hard times and met many interesting people along the way - some kind, some less so. Yet when I look upon and listen to the persona that is represented by Tali'Zorah, a fictional character, I feel such profound joy and sadness. Not because she is a sad character, but because I don't have a love of my own of that character. She's a fictitious character, and an alien at that, in a made believe universe mirroring our own which means I'll never get to meet Tali'Zorah and yet I can think of no one else I'd rather make a personal connection with. God I hope there are people out there in our real world like her. And I pray that one of them, somehow, somewhere, someday will be a lovely woman that bumps in to me and something special comes of it. Until then it is a very bittersweet pill to swallow because the more I see, hear and experience of her, the more I want and the more I want the more acute that sense of longing and sadness grows.

....And that is a testament to the true and great power of story telling when done right. BioWare has outdone themselves on this occasion.

I was expecting someone big.  Big as in REALLY impressive, like Tali's dad > or = Illusive Man kinda big.  This was the head of the Admiralty board, the big guy, the head honcho, the leader of an entire people.  A man with a natural, passive ability to overshadow those around him.  An idealistic man who, though he never directly showed his affection to her, did what he could for his daugter by leading his people as best he could.

I was looking forward to being "wowed" by this guy... and I get a corpse... a corpse with a recording of regular, unimpressive man who's only contribution was giving us the idea to build Tali a house on her planet... bah

And TheSorrow was good enough to add a different musical track to my previously favourite ME2 fan made video ("Fairy Tale"). Knowing Shepard and Tali the way that I do after having sunk hundreds of hours in to ME1 and ME2, this video which has no words and only a melodic song manages to convey the precise emotions that pass between the two. Hey, just a quick question on a tangent, who was the observer on liara's spying mission thing? I picked the krogan, cause he was the one who wasn't present in any of the message I hacked, but he got killed and liara said it wasn't him (therefore she doesn't open up, and still looks like a bi*** to me) Not that it'd make a difference, still Tali all the way. Just curious

I wasn't disappointed at all. What we were shown and got to experience regarding Tali's father in ME2 matched my expectations of him based upon the little knowledge there was of him previously.
