That is different.  Those characters are made mysterious so that the player can put their own idea of the character into them.  Tali has an already clear and defined character, so it dosnt work the same way.

I sure hope tali's romance won't carry into ME3 like liara's did in ME2. Was there a romance? no. just shepard staring at a picture. if bioware does that to tali, I'm going to be pissed

It's a toss up for me.... Depends on my mood. Sometimes I want to see what she looks like, and other times I like the mystique. However, I lean more toward seeing her, because then that's closer she can get to Shepard. It would be nice to see Tali in a sun dress relaxing in Shepard's lap on the couch watching the extranet or his fish or something. Or cuddling without armor plating.

I hear you man, but I just cant see them getting rid of people on your team at this point.  ME2 was about building a team, so ME3 should be about using it.

With this thread supporting us I HIGHLY doubt that will happen. If it does I'll just rent ME3..Bioware will get no purchase from me.

i think one of the reasons people like tali so much is because of that mystery.
pretty much shes one of those characters you can imagine what ever you want.
like some people think jack is hot but not always appealing to some
same with miranda and ash
some people like ash... while i dont
and i think they realized that if they show her face that some people wont be happy ya kno?
