I agree. I like the mystery and imagination of her face. Showing her face would be like showing a COD player character's face or Master chief's face

i think one of the reasons people like tali so much is because of that mystery.
pretty much shes one of those characters you can imagine what ever you want.
like some people think jack is hot but not always appealing to some
same with miranda and ash
some people like ash... while i dont
and i think they realized that if they show her face that some people wont be happy ya kno?

I'd rather they showed her face and some people wouldn't be happy, than they didn't show it and a lot of people wouldn't be happy. They could simply make it an option in a dialogue or something. People who don't want to see her, could say "No, not now, keep your helmet on." and voilà, everyone's happy.

There's no way I could have the willpower to not see it if it was a dialogue option. lol
I couldn't even hold myself back from seeing the Tali romance before the game even came out.

What Fox News said about ME1 was probably one of the poorest examples of journalistic reporting in this history of news.

Fox News not a news corp. Actually entertainment corp. Was disappointed with lack of nudity. Creators self censored scenes. Preferred ME1 scenes. Tasteful. Emotional. However. Required more post-climax cuddling.

Whats wrong with post climax cuddling....tali and Shep cuddling is the cutest thing I have ever seen in a video game

Clarification: ME1 lacked cuddling. ME2 resolves. Preferred nudity. Lack broke immersion. No slight intended to beloved Tali. Would prefer more affection in ME3 between love interest. Examples: Spontaneous hug. Hand holding. Dancing. Wistful gazes. Indications of early stage infatuation.

Thats not possible, bad for business. Too many Tali fans, they would loose lots of money.

I also think they are going to reward people who stayed faithful.

I still maintain that Bioware intended for you to get the cold shoulder and feel let down so you would look else where for romance.  They have hyped alot about ME 3 the two romances will be aware of one another.

Although I will pick tali everytime.  Also I am going to play through ME 1 and stay single just for Tali.

I still want Tali as naked in sex scene in ME 3 though.  Because i am curious about quarians.. And we got to see LI's naked in ME 1. Would be unfair not to provide simular fanservice to other LI's i think.

How would they actually go about revealing her face? Not the particular situation, but I doubt it would be by a sudden change in the scene, or from her body to her face, slowly revealing it from the neck up. I would like to see a darkened picture, such as Tali and Shepard being in a darkened room. She slowly walks out of the shadows, gradually revealing her face.

Also, to enhance the picture, I would love for BioWare to do what they did with Aria on Omega. "Don't f*ck with Aria" was said when her lips were shown from the side in a beautiful CGI-like picture. If anyone remembers that, applying the same picture to the reveal of Tali's face would be brilliant.

Well honestly, they passed up their absolute best method of revealing her face with ME2 right here...that setup was perfect for the moment, yet....no face!!

Your ideas seem pretty sound; they can really go any way with it now. Thoguh either way, they will have a hard time making it as epic, or more epic, than the scene buildup we see now.

I know. But if it were only an option, you'd have only yourself to blame if you don't like seeing her but can't resist.
People who are angry at themselves don't cause such a commotion, in comparison to people who are angry at a company.
Besides, I'm confident they'd make her fairly good-looking. At the very least not ugly enough to justify dumping her or something. People who really like her, will also like her when they know how she looks.

And don't you think *never* knowing would be worse than being a little bit disappointed because you imagined her differently? To me, it would.

As long as she's a squadmate and LI in ME3, I'll be fine, but I'd very much welcome a face reveal in addition.

Not really dramatic...more of a suspenseful moment. All that time spent wondering what she looked like (roughly 5 years of wondering) piled into one scene. Epic.
