Question for the Tali fanbase: Have most of you been rabid fans of her since ME1 or was it her expanded storyline in this one that has made you such devotees. I liked Tali's character in ME1 well enough but I tended to leave her out of my squad until after I got the high-level quarian armor for completing BDTS during my second playthrough with a character. This because she just died too easily without armor in my playing style.

Now, however, she hangs in during battle (AI hack is a must against heavy mechs) and, really, her storyline and romance arc combine to make her the most fully realised character in the whole game.

But that all happened in the second game for me. You guys are really, truly, madly, deeply into her in a way that I'm not really in touch with, ALTHOUGH I MUST STRESS I LOVE THE CHARACTER. SHE'S GREAT! (just in case that's not clear, lol).

Just want to know whether it's the new stuff that has done it for you or if she had you at "Hi Shepard" in ME1.

well idk about the rest but ive always been a fan of tali. and ive always been disappointed that you couldnt persue a relationsship with her in the first mass effect.
that being said because of that lack yes there isnt alot you can do with her on the first game
however i did try to bring her with me on many me1 missions but yes she did die very easy.
she has a cute voice and i liked her comments so she was fun to bring along

I already got her the eviscerator... she put it to good use. She shot a geth right in the face.

Hummm didn't think of the slugs though. Maybe she could get me an M82 Barrett that would put the fear of God inot the geth.

So I'm looking through the bioware store site today, checking out stuff I might get. Click on the art section, thinking a poster might look good on my wall. No Tali to be seen! nine seperate posters available, not a single one with Tali on it anywhere. The big fancy one by Craig Mullens has Shep, Miranada and Thane, and the so called "Team poster" only has Shep, Miranda, Thane, Grunt and Mordin. Come on, gimme a Tali poster Bioware!
