@ Videowiz Just finished off reading your fanfic as well, as above, nicely written, character interactions were quite good, some of the action scenes seemed a bit strange, cant quite place my finger on it, but they were good all the same, just seemed to be some room for improvement.

None taken. One must always listen to comments. That is why need them to write more. Please post what you said onto part 6. Will be hard otherwise to find it tomorrow.

My take is that originally they didn't.
But over several generations living in space, inside hulls where lighting might not be that bright will make going out into direct sunlight hurt their eyes alot.
If you have an Albino friend, ask him about his or her need to wear sunglasses most of the time.

300+ years living without even indirect sunlight on your eyes can have adverse effects on them in terms of tolerating brightness I would think.

Personley i think its due for ultrviolent rays from the sun when thay go planet side, artficley lighting really dos give off ultravilent rays unless there foresent and eaven then it has to be a large amount. thats what i think there tint is so dark if you do spend all your time inside a ship/eviroment suite your systems gana be VARY weak.
