I dunno garrus does it too ( as in alot) and he got an AR

AR's are programmed to be on par with you, they'll stay within the middle range around you but if there's a lot of cover options they'll be shifting all over the place. Give Garrus a sniper though, sniper's always look to use the cover behind you so they'll naturally live longer. Doubly effective if the sniper uses the mantis or the widow, the single shot forces them back into cover.

Edit: I've never used anything other than Soldier, infilrator or Engineer in ME2. I've never enjoyed the biotic powers. In the first game they were either useless or made the game way too easy. ME2, made them a bit more limited, maybe a bit too much considering everything is armoured on insanity.

Dropping by to show my support, again. Crawling my way through the agonizing early stages of ME 2, where you can't recruit Tali. Once i recruit Tali on this playthrough i will do the Side quests and find any excuse to use more time on the game than needed.

Even though the early stages of ME 2 is a bit annoying, with no Tali, it's still fun, just not as fun it would be with Tali. =]

I recently watched my brother play that exact scene with Garrus.

*Krogran screams and runs off*

"Ahh, nothing like a military pep talk"

Even the Turians make fun of the Quarians! Garrus by the way has amazing lines throughout that mission. You need to hear his conversation with Shepard about why he hates fighting through hospitals.

Garrus: Too bad..hospitals arent fun to fight thru.

Shepard:What is fun to fight thru?

Garrus:Gardens, electronics shops, Antiquity Store but only if there classy.

One thing that ticks of alot is older character (Tali-Garrus) and the other female love interest really dont have much dialogue to go thru..kinda makes em off track

Yeah, I think the only two females that have a lot of dialogue is Jack and Samara, and Samara is not a LI. Male side, Jacob has a few, Thane and even Legion has a good dose. Grunt actually has a little, but it is spread out. Garrus, Tali, Miranda don't have that much. Even less if you romance then. Mordin is not too bad, but still. But you are right, the oldies and Miranda tend to have not much.

My guess Yvonne's paycheck was really big. So they had to limit her lines.

Yeah I feel that as well. If you're not romancing a LI you'll be screwed out of a lot of Dialogue. Meanwhile Samara and Mordin have tons to drone on about. Hey if I'm gonna listen to somebody ramble on for an hour or 2 at least make sure it's the one I'm trying to get the pants off of.

Though Thane is was mighty chatty for not being a LI for my man Shepard. This game needs to allow more Bromances like Thane. Jacob and Grunt have almost no dialogue in comparison.

Yeah but that memory will bite ya if you think up the wrong thing.

"Hey Thane remember that night we went drinking at Dark Star and we passed out? I never figured out what that taste in my mouth was after I woke up in the guy's bathroom"

*Thane begins to gag*

I jest. Good guy though, He'd always be my 3rd pick for my squad if the game allowed more than 2 I think that's something that needs to be expanded on. Stuck with only 2 out of a roster of 11 possible teammates was a bit of a downer. Worse, you couldn't even get the last 4(some of my most favourite by the way) until you're really deep in the game.

Yeah kinda why i like that hack having Tali and Thane around right at the start makes em take a bigger part in the game i find..like more familiar or bounded

Agreed. Including one more active player might be feasible without requiring too much of a revamp of the entire gameplay mechanics, though more and/or tougher/smarter enemies would likely have to be included to compensate. Anything above four active players in a party would likely necessitate a complete redrawing of in-game mechanics. It does seem a bit of a shame though since often many players pick a few as their favourites and that's that (I do it too). I suppose that was one of the nifty parts about loyalty missions: You were forced to spend some time with each character and get to know them, and their abilities, better if you opted to gain their loyalty (which is in your best interest).

Samara is one of the coolest characters I've come across in some time, and she is certainly one the coolest female characters I've come across, IMO. I've stated it before and I'm happy to do so again: I would be thrilled to see Samara return in ME3 as a recruitable party member and love interest. The same goes for our delectable Ms. Tali'Zorah vas Normandy of course. ^_^

I got my windows 7 up and running.. damn its weird in comparison to XP. So much stuff for me to get used to now =\\ I'll get used to it though. The only thing I gotta do is re-install a whole bunch of stuff.

Good thing I got Steam though.. I can go back to talimancing STRAIGHT AWAY :D
