Well, Shepard would have to meet the parents at some point. Matter of respect, there.
But then, how would Shepard's parents react to Tali?
He's already missed the boat on that one. Shala'Raan, her aunt, is the only one left. And he did meet her, just not in, um, that capacity.
Likely sign of affection.
Quarians limited to one child, per couple, after all.
Eh, Tali calls her "aunt" whatever the actual relation is so it's a good point of reference.
Interesting that the term "aunt" survived 300 years of the one-child policy.

Oh I see...well how about a new question about tali?
How would tali's father react on her undying love for shepard?
Would he be happy?
Would he be mad about it (Like "how could you love a human?")
I'm not sure any father really likes who is after their daughter. On the other hand, at least Shepard is a captain who (most likely) takes care of his crew. I think it would have a lot to do with Shepard's views on the geth.
I think Rael'Zorah's e-mail after recruiting Tali said a lot on the subject, actually. "Yes she can go with you, but grumble grumble I think she's doing because she hung around with you before and nothing had better happen to her or you'll pay!" was the upshot I got from it.
Edit: Pretty average fatherly reaction, now that I think about it. Just with more political oomph.
I think Rael would really like Shepard. I mean, he is a captain which is a very respected position among the Quarians, and Shepard (at least mine), look out for his crew and looks to their well-being. I mean hell, the man went on a shopping trip so they could get some decent grub, thats commitment.
Combine that with the fact that they are fighting the Reapers, defeated Sovreign, and allowed Tali to bring back information about the Geth back in ME1. Yeah, I think he would be very pleased with Shepard.
if we did do this, The Woo would come out and start to attack us.... that is untli we release Tank Cat upon him for round 2Raniall wrote...

Can we do this anyway? I mean, there is nothing wrong with a good torch burning mob every now and again. Keeps the blood flowing and people on their toes.

Policy changes. Occasionally Quarian population declines. Multiple births allowed. In extreme cases multiple births encouraged.

I just had my Shepard's first encounter with Liara (second play through,) and I'm struck by how bland she seems to me personally. Granted, I wasn't particularly interested in here in ME1 so I may be biased, yet to me this simply confirms that Liara was not, and is not, a type of character I'm attracted to. She seems nice enough - well, she did until she became an information broker on Illium - and I'm not ungrateful for what she did for Shepard (she's the one who went searching for his body), but there is absolutely no spark between her personality and my own personality represented by Shepard. Now Tali'Zorah and Samara on the other hand.....Either of those two ladies are an entirely different matter altogether.
So true! Bioware would be knee deep in the angry mob unless Tali is present in ME3 as a squad member!Alanosborn1991 wrote...
