This thread seem to be slowly dying...it's kind of sad.

Folks are at work and school. I can only be so involved Image IPB

This is not entirely unexpected. Like the ebb and flow of the oceans' tides, our numbers and the amount of activity on this thread, and/or any future incarnations of it, will rise and fall. 'Tis only natural just as it is with the waxing and waning of the moon's cycles. Yet whether it be under the warm light of news and developments pertaining to ME2 DLC/expansion pack or ME3, or the quiet, dark cold of a media blackout regarding these games, we shall endure. Lying dormant in the ground like seeds waiting to sprout and bloom when the time is right. Fear not, for though our voices may grow still it does not mean we are gone. We shall rise again. :)

Eh, Tali calls her "aunt" whatever the actual relation is so it's a good point of reference.

Interesting that the term "aunt" survived 300 years of the one-child policy.

Policy changes. Occasionally Quarian population declines. Multiple births allowed. In extreme cases multiple births encouraged.

Is so.

I feel bad that I just now noticed that there are two of you guys.

I just had my Shepard's first encounter with Liara (second play through,) and I'm struck by how bland she seems to me personally. Granted, I wasn't particularly interested in here in ME1 so I may be biased, yet to me this simply confirms that Liara was not, and is not, a type of character I'm attracted to. She seems nice enough - well, she did until she became an information broker on Illium - and I'm not ungrateful for what she did for Shepard (she's the one who went searching for his body), but there is absolutely no spark between her personality and my own personality represented by Shepard. Now Tali'Zorah and Samara on the other hand.....Either of those two ladies are an entirely different matter altogether.

I look at Liara and want to fall asleep, she just is not interesting to me romantically at  all. Now Tali, Samara and Miranda on the other hand, now we working with something there. Liara just does not do it for me either.

Oh I see...well how about a new question about tali?
How would tali's father react on her undying love for shepard?
Would he be happy?
Would he be mad about it (Like "how could you love a human?")

I'm not sure any father really likes who is after their daughter.  On the other hand, at least Shepard is a captain who (most likely) takes care of his crew.  I think it would have a lot to do with Shepard's views on the geth.

I think Rael'Zorah's e-mail after recruiting Tali said a lot on the subject, actually.  "Yes she can go with you, but grumble grumble I think she's doing because she hung around with you before and nothing had better happen to her or you'll pay!" was the upshot I got from it.

Edit:  Pretty average fatherly reaction, now that I think about it.  Just with more political oomph.

I think Rael would really like Shepard. I mean, he is a captain which is a very respected position among the Quarians, and Shepard (at least mine), look out for his crew and looks to their well-being. I mean hell, the man went on a shopping trip so they could get some decent grub, thats commitment.

Combine that with the fact that they are fighting the Reapers, defeated Sovreign, and allowed Tali to bring back information about the Geth back in ME1. Yeah, I think he would be very pleased with Shepard.

I think Rael would be happy for Tali, solely because Tali is happy. Parents, fathers especially sometimes find it hard to show true emotion of feeling for their children. As seen during Tali's mission, her father cared for her and wanted her to be happy, even though could not convey those feeling to Tali while he was alive. I think he would like Shep even more, knowing that he would not be around to take care of his little girl (no matter old she gets would always be his little girl),

Wish to call attention. As father. Daughters are always "little girl." Read Rael's email with father's perspective. Different meaning. Translated "If you hurt my little girl, you will be in a world of hurt." Have said as much personally. Enjoyed email.

Only 40% odds of success. Would be easier for quarians than volus, though.

So wait. We can get Quarians out of their suits...we have one of the most giftest salarian doctors in the galaxy under our direct command, and the ability to procure the funds to get our beloved Tali out of her suit.

Why are we not funding this?!

Yeah. I like how the ad's voice actor cheerfully exclaims, "We have a success rate of upwards to 40%!" Hm. So in other words, not actually 40% but somewhere below that. Great odds if you were playing for a multi-million credit intergalactic lottery. Perhaps not so great odds given it's your life that's on the line and it may not be a necessary risk to achieve success. <_<

my question now...what will be after ME3 ? There is a book upcoming soon ,three more comics and after a while ME3.What then. I mean that cant be it?I still haven´t enough of the ME universe and deffenitly not enough of Tali`Zorah and her quarian fellows. I mean what then? I hope that´s ain´t be it then, there so much I want to know. I hope they keep going even after ME3
