This is what I forsee happening:

Tali becomes an Admiral. Shepard goes "WTF Reapers!" Tali tells the others to help. They say no. She leaves to fight with Shepard

Hmm, that might work. Andersson dies a heroic death, Shepard replaces him, and Quarians get their place on the Council because of their contribution in the conflict. And Tali ofc is their representative.

Indeed. Seeing as how the character is only now truly, fully realized (And spectacularly so) I would hate to see the character so marginalized in the third game. Not when so many people want to not only see the quest through to the end, but see it through with her.

Nah I could see that if you were with Liara or Ash but the council wouldnt let 2/5ths of their vote be involved in a love interest like that. Besides Shepard is a warrior not a politician.  Maybe Kal'reegar gets on the council thou instead... and Shepard lives with Tali in the fleet

... now I want to replay one to get Udina on the council just so he can die, Shepard can replace him, and Anderson serve as heroic advisor while everyone toasts "The prat is finally gone."

Would be easy anyways, I'd just throw the Geth about like rag dolls, and make them smell my greatness!

Hey, if the Quarians want to make a quick and decisive strik against the Geth, why not just use an EMP like in MOD2? It took out the entire East Coast in the cutscene, and the only real damage was from falling aircraft. It would give them time to insert a ground team and hit vital targets while the Geth were disabled.
