  I will bet you anything though whether Tali's people get their planet back will all depend on what you did at the end of Legion's loyalty mission.

I think it will depend if you suggest the admiralty board to go to war. The organic loving geth are open for peace, but they need it from both sides to act upon it.
If the quarians (like that geth loving quarian admiral(that is an ass) would approch the geth and make peace then they could get their homeworld back.

Just my thoughts, could be wrong.

No, you have a good point there. :)  And I think that will indeed play a role in it.  But whether you re-wrote or destroyed all those extra Geth (the heretics) I think will also play a role in how that will play out.

Indeed, why improbable? I'd love to see that happen!

I'm a gigantic supporter of more romance depth in ME3. I think it's time in ME3 that it's not gonna be flirting -> flirting -> flirting -> hugging / kissing -> lovemaking. We've been there, done that. In ME3 it should be more about the actual relationship. For example, at some point Tali (or any other chick or dude) will start wondering if she's not slowing Shepard down.. which will que Shepard's options to show her his devotion (or not) and there also should be allot of opportunities to just flirst around with other NPCs on occasion so Shepard have the option NOT to flirt or rejects others. In this way he shows his devotion to Tali which strengthens the relationship.

And yes, marriage would be amazing. And if not marriage, then I'm ok with the possibility to say something in the sense of  "Tali, I love you and I'll never let you go.". I NEED closure like that before the Shepard IP is over.

Dude you said exactly what i think....and actual love story is needed in ME 3

I'd go for human because those can be a beauty. Don't know how a origional quarian wedding looks like.

It would be nice to see, but they would have to run the same climax with every relationship. Since every one is different that would be a lot of work.... unless they put the game on 4 discs that it.

Well I actually wouldn't count them out though.  Bioware knew what they were getting into with alllllll these different story ideas, people and missions.  With 90 people voicing over 500 different characters and twice as much dialog from the first game, I won't be surprised if they are ready, willing, and able to double ME2 for ME3.  Bioware is one of the hardest working developers I have ever seen!  If anyone can pull it off, I know they can.  And really, *laugh* I could care less how many discs it needs to be put on!

QFT! Bioware can do it and they always deliver, always!

Yeah, I bought ME2 on Steam anyway so mine has no discs, lol.

Killer Irish you're going down a bad path :(

I'm sure you have to decide in me3 wether to support the fleet or to support the geth when they really launch war. Potentially there will be a peaceful solution, but if not, man you will have a tough time.

And well about the romantic scene, I kind of see it the same way you do, but: For me Tali completely catched me in the way she acted, the way she talked and all the dialogues where just so heartwarming. The cuddle scene was just the tip on the i, nothing more. Even if you resume the game after suidice mission and go down and talk to her and she tells that she feels terrible ill, has got things in her nose she really doesn't want to describe but all that was total worth it - all these small things make tali to us for what she is, not that little cuddle scene scrambled with bad clipping and gorilla facial expressions from shepard ^_^

  Do remember though...I did say it was a nitpicky gripe.  And if you read in the info area you will see I'm not really pissed about it...just annoyed due to I know what they could have done to fix it.

The romance leading up to the "love scene" was absolutely perfect in every single kind of the sense.  And what she says after you have "beaten the game" was hilariously cute.  My only other complaint was after she says that, if you talk to her again, she goes back to her default dialog of questioning your relationship.  That also made me take a step back saying, Really?  Couldn't have added an extra piece of dialog so she wasn't constantly asking "if you want to be with someone else, I understand."

HAHAHAHA I just got to Noveria in my Tali-only/lvl 60 game of ME1 and I just noticed dialogue I've never seen before and it made me laugh out loud. My guy is a colonial this time and Anoleis, the head guy on Noveria, said:

Anoleis: we don't like primitive rubes coming in here

Shepard: You got a problem with colonials?

Anoleis: Protectionists and communists the lot of them!

HAHA he called me a communist!

Yes, absolutely. So far we've just seen the beginning of a possible relationship, whose climax was the sexual-encounter-just-in-case-we-croak-fighting-the-bad-guy. But after saving the damn galaxy for the umpteenth time there must be some love for our heroes. Besides, she's the main reason my Shepard wants to save the galaxy or die trying in the first place.

LOL yeah that really made me laugh, I've never seen that one before.

I'm having a lot of fun though. I am bringing Tali literally everywhere every single time I leave the ship. I usually bring her with me most of the time but I switch up occasionally. This time, Tali will ALWAYS be with me haha. I've noticed some dialogue from her that I missed in my other playthroughs, its cool. Coming back to it after ME2 as well it really emphasises to me all of what I thought about it. You can really tell she already begins to develop feelings fromthe very beginning, and my Shepard responds the same way every time they talk.

She never gave up on Shepard. Not even in death. She still held on deep down for him :)

I support this movement! :P However I am sure that Tali will return. Also to back this up (this is just a theory :P) I think shell be alot more story driven next time round too. I believe this because at the end of mass effect 2 the sun behind the The Illusive man can change colour to either Red(Red Giant) or Blue(Blue Dwarf). Both of which are ageing processes of a sun. Also when recruiting Tali she was on a mission to do with a rapidly ageing sun. Perhaps Cerburus has something to do with it? They certainly have the resources for it. Again this is a theory. Feel free to nit pick evey flaw there is in it. xD

Anyways.... my point is Tali is too deep a character to remove which has so much potential story behind her.

Hi Guys,

What can I say!

I feel like its AA meeting ready to stand up and say

"I too love Tali!"

On a small teeeny point.

In ME1 Tali was this fun loving young girl who made me laugh.

In ME2 Tali is responsible for teams and she is very sensible and serious. And seemed to have the wieght of the ...eh Fleet?? on her slender shoulders. It is not until she is back on the Normandy that we begin to see the fun Tali back, worth it :-)

So Devs bring her back into ME3 or I will refuse to play the game through more than 5 times....really I am that serious about Tali!

PS read these forums some great rp ideas from my rivals, about the relationship going forward.

Cheers

This and the fact, that there was some talking about "dark energy" which reveals to be something quite important, maybe linked directly to the reapers, we don't know yet. But what we know is that Tali was after it when recruiting her, so here it goes

Well she's serious when she needs to be, when she really has important things to do. You know she really has strong feelings for Shepard and there's so much pointing towards it, and when you see her on Freedom's Progress you can feel her heart skip a beat, at the sight of the man who had her heart and mind, she wanted to embrace him but is on a mission and can't abandon it. She'll see it through to the end and then come running into Shepard's arms as soon as she possibly can :) When she does you just know she feels like she's on cloud nine again because she sparks up and glows in your presence no matter how bad things in the galaxy seem :)

I thought that too, it was a nice touch and it showed how much she'd grown as a character.  Awww, we love her, don't we Posted Image
