Yeah, Shep looks a bit weird, but others are good.
And Tali is a must have. I am going to a comic shop in my hometown on Friday and if they have can, 
i might pre-order a Tali figurine from them.

ok... aswell as a machine to travel to travel to another dimension. Grow the magic tree thingy from pandora and kidnap shepard and do a forced mind swap. Then kill Shepard (Shepard that is now in your body) TADA! Sorted. Back to saving the galaxy and giving Tali a cold.

Knowing Shepard's story and actually being able to perform at the same peak levels as him are different things. Besides, how much of all that tech gear in ME would we actually be familiar with? None of it. Sure, in time we could probably learn how to use most of it but we'd be like students in a classroom.

She should seek out the geth and establish good relations with them and the quarians during ME3.

Yeah, but half of the fun is the "thrill of the hunt. " If we already have her, we've lost the fun of getting her. Not nearly as rewarding.

Speak for yourself, I'm a quick learner haha, besides their tech isn't THAT far ahead of us in some areas. We already have displays on falling water, wouldn't be TOO difficult to learn how to use a display made out of light. Plus, I know someone with one of those Light Keyboards, it's pretty fun to play with.

I am not oblivious to the ideas you raise, however strictly speaking, if we were to step through a portal in to the ME universe that would imply we are entering it in our current physical form, ergo we would not inhabit the body of John Shepard (the canonized Shepard). This is of course a matter of academics since it's not a realistic option at present time (that I'm aware of at any rate).

As for confidence, I certainly think it has its place and yes, it can inspire a person to push themselves and achieve great things. Yet confidence can only do so much. Even the greatest confidence and willpower still requires that certain functions be in place to support and carry out its directives.
