Sometimes people have to be given the time and space to reach their own conclusions. Pushing them at a pace with which they are not comfortable can result in counter-productive outcomes even if they were initially inclined to end up in agreement with one's desired end result.

Someone brought up no longer have the "thrill of the hunt"...

... but what if your love interest (in this case Tali) is kidnapped or captured in ME3 and you have to rescue her? She's used as a way to get to you and you have to fight to get her back once more.

Could even be from an organization you trusted, like Cerbersus (as a way to try and "force" your cooperation) or even shady actions from the Council. That would give you that "thrill of the hunt" because you have to fight through hell again to get her back, which, I imagine, would be quite rewarding.

I had a bad thought what if tali's role was reduce to npc and depending on your choices she either stays vas normandy or becomes Admiral Tali

you can get a free copy of fraps, if screenshots are your only conncern. it doesnt do anything to your computer (at least as far as ive seen), though it can slow your pc down a bit if you used the vid cap  function

but to be honest, Cerberus just can't compete with Shepard.

considering he's familiar with his crew, it'd be awful hard to kidnap Tali(or any LI) from right under his nose.

Also, WOW @ the utter success of Tali support. bioware would stupid to ignore this.

Yeah. It could change everything.
But knowing what can happen isnt bad. It just means that we know better how to prepare. And that we have to be careful not to mess anything up. But we also know that, for example, saving Rachni queen will give us more help in ME3, potentially. Not killing Wrex can get you more help in the end as well. 

So yeah, it is a two-edged sword....

unless the geth are ready to leave like legion said they are, in which case their wont be aa need for the admiralty board as it is now, though she may become the leader of her people in whatever government they establish on the homeworld

Anything is possible regarding the story of ME3, even if it broke with the existing storyline and didn't make sense. However, BioWare have a long history of being far too proficient and professional with their storytelling to opt for such a course.

Given Tali's role in ME1 and how it changes in ME2, I have little doubt that she will be back in ME3 as a party member and romantic interest. In other words, I do not think Tali will be permanently removed from our party in ME3 even if she were to be made a Quarian admiral (and if she were it might not even result in her leaving the party at any point).

Judging by the state I am in now I would have to say going wouldn't take a second thought. Sure you have to deal with the same stuff that goes down here everyday but you also get to live out things that would never happen here. You get to fly around in space and meet new races and possibly have some serious adventure. While I do love Tali very much who is to say she would fall in love with you, but chances are that maybe another very cool Quarian would keep you warm at night. It would be even cooler though if you entered their universe at a time where you have precognitive knowledge of what events will transpire. Then you would become of value to Shepards crew and can take part in the adventure of a life time. Yep I would dive right into that portal and live out my days doing what others can only dream of.

That could be fascinating. It would also raise questions as to how much influence individual actions can affect the scenario. Say we pop in to the ME universe and inform Shepard that it's all going to be fine because A, B, and C. The good Cmdr. Shepard then decides to take it just a little bit more relaxed during an encounter and BAM! Suddenly an even that was pre-determined apparently changes due to changes in the "building blocks" involved due to our input which wasn't there before.

While something like this could happen we as gamers have become very quick thinkers and are able to deal with unknowns very well.  Just think about all the training we have received and didnt even realize it though years of gaming.  I think we can deal with the things that change on the fly and deal with the amount of actual time that goes by in their world.  Heck all I see is more time to speak with Tali and learn about their tech while building a relationship under the good commanders nose.  He can hang out down stair with Jack.

Cheers. I downloaded Fraps yesterday but apparently there is a fatal error caused by my 64-bit version of Windows 7 (even though the Fraps download was stated as being compatiable with Windows 7) which prevents the download from fully installing. Any advice?
