Oh just stop, your argument doesn't hold water. bioware listens to it's fans, and there is more than enough evidence to support it.
Just that you dont hold as much influence as you might think.

Again...the evidence says otherwise.
A business cannot be successful if they don't listen to their customers. Period. They don't have to listen to EVERYTHING, but they will listen to the most vocal things.
To do otherwise, is just not smart, business-wise. Bioware is smart, successful, and has a track record of listening to fans.

I do not think the Fans have that much impact.
...Why do you think Tali and Garrus were romances in ME2?
They planned on Tali being an LI for ME1. They did not include it, because they did not think she'd be popular.
Fan reaction changed that. Garrus and Tali's LI stories were created(and in Tali's case, re-created) purely due to fan influence.
Argument is now null and void.
i was looking more at unless they please the fans the sales will go down.
Bio Ware said it them selves. They had no idea and that the fans out cry for this is why they have added it to this game. Fans have a lot of power these days. It is why they have forums in the first place. They want to see what we think and what we want so they can have a better chance at getting our money. In Tali's case her fan following is so high that Bio Ware really wouldnt want to lose us for the 3rd instalment of the ME franchise. If you want proof of how many people love Tali just look at two simple things. 1. They had to remove our original thread because it was about to reach 10,000 post and 400 pages in just 4 days time. I dont think this has ever been done before. 2. Her toy is the first and only female toy for Mass Effect series 1 and it's preorders are sold out across the board in just 2 days time.
Face it fans have a lot of power and smart business is to listen to them if you want their money.

he has a point thou, if you killed off all the ME2+ME1 LIs there will have to be new LI for ME3, and unless its vorcha, hanar, or volus its going to be a replacement for at least one person. Personnality wise it couldn't be much different either (theres only soo many stereotypes you can base characters on that isn't boring)

If X character survived, X character continues as your squadmate for ME3.
IF X character died, they are replaced by Y character as your squadmate for ME3.
Will require a lot of resources. But not even close to impossible. Bioware isn't exactly a small and resource-strapped company.
They
have also said that how you treated your LI's in ME1/ME2(being
faithful/single, etc) will have consequences for ME3. So yes, the LI's
will transfer to some extent.
The fan following for certain
characters is so huge that not including them in ME3 would be suicide
and would hurt sales; it's safe to say that Bioware learned from their
Liara and ash/kaidan mistakes.
The ME2 story revolved around
building the greatest team in the galaxy. Just "splitting up" in ME3
would render that story utterly meaningless.

Well, it violates BioWare's forum rules, but perhaps a link that doesn't have graphic wording in it might be able to pass under the radar.

I for one am not mad at all. As an artist I can tell you that this is what you expect when you make a hot female character. In fact if I had a popular character out there I would be mad if someone didnt do it, but that is just me. What I can't have a shallow moment

Like I already mentioned, it won't be a problem for the PC users. For the console players: Tough break.
I'm on the console and I hardly notice anything from the CD swamp.
I can still do some parts from Disc 1 on D2. I would not mind extra cd's.
And look it from this side: You get some extra excersise!
That's the spirit!
