In honor of Shepard's "superior code", the Geth will build him and Tali and ocean-front Villa out of the wreckage of the original normandy on the Quarian homeworld.

I find this "superior code" sounding alot like "superior genes" Posted Image.

Hehe, i thought it was well good when he said "superior code".
Heck yeah ! I am Shepard, my code IS superior !!!

building a home for both tali and shepard is too much for me. But a romance better than the ME2 romance we have with kaidan/ash/liara could be nice. Better than see her 5 minutes in a random place, and a picture in a wall.

Could you explain what you mean by too much? Do you mean that it is too much in the fact that the relationship resulted in marriage? Or that it seems odd to put that in a game? Oh yeah, hey everybody Im back for a bit ;)

Hey my original idea was awesome! :( They shep should build Tali a house on the quarian homeworld and they adopt a cute little quarian girl and live happily ever after. :D

I'm opting for a boy n' girl.

That's fine :P But we should also get a nice romantic ending SEQUENCE, not just a written epilogue, Tali deserves a sequence!!

Apparently people want to build a house on the Quarian home planet. That was a huge topic in the last one, I see new people, so any thoughts.

Yeah, nice house in the hills with a pool and a pet varren.  Kids in bubbles.  Yep, the dream's still alive.

....And a big ass armed cruiser sitting in the backyard just waiting to dust off.

Again I feel like they'd be too bored living like that...

I dunno, war has a habit of making the most bloodthirsty of men yearn for nothing but peace and quiet until the end of their days.

Agreed. While I haven't served in some of the places you've mentioned, Moth, I can relate. I've never felt so pacifistic as when I was an active soldier. Had something to do with suddenly having the authority to use lethal force and being taught  how to use certain equipment and shown just what the consequences of their usage can lead to.

i think too much going into the whole romance.too much detail and there should be a limit.

How can it not be that after destroying the reapers, you see a gigantic cutscene of the wedding with your Li and everybody in your squad that survives.

I'd say that seeing your Li giving birth would be too much...

But you have to admit that would be a fresh concept in a game, The last game I remember that had anything like that was harvest moon for ps1 lol, most game romances nowadays seems to be flings, but I can see you point, but If they put something alone those lines at the end, I think it could work well.

I've always wondered if the women in the ME world actually like, you know, wear perfume and all that. In Tali's case, what would she smell like, since smell is an important part of attraction. Until we get olfactory technology in the future, this question will go unanswered..

I think she'd smell like her headscarf, which she probably washes on low with plenty of summer-breeze scented fabric conditioner.  And, of course Mr Muscle glass cleaner for the visor.

Aahhhh! Moth! Surely you can relate to this! I remember on some of the days when we'd return to base from several days of training out in the fields and forests - hard, dirty, tiring work - and one of the rare female members on base would walk nearby, the scent of her feminine perfume wafting slowly in to one's nostrils with promises of sensual ecstasy. It was divine. Truly.

In the future, all infantry suits not only have kinetic barriers, but build in deodorizers and sanitizers.  You fight hard and stay FRESH to death!

Where do I sign up?

Haha......very true, though after getting back from my recent recce course, after lying, sleeping and ****ting in a bush for six days, even the smell of brasso turned me on :P

Still, there's no denying the allure of a lady's perfume.  I just hope the Quarian idea of Chanel isn't chlorine and burning cat hair

Mass Effect 3 has been reported to already be in the planning stages. What things would you like to see improved from the end of the development cycle of Mass Effect 2 to Mass Effect 3?

I think the biggest thing is first of all the resolution of all the plots, all the decisions players have made throughout. Being able to play and experience all the surviving cast members, all the characters people liked. That’s one big part of it.

The other part though is really down to the feedback we’ll get from fans having played Mass Effect 2. That’s going to be our biggest focus is understanding the way people play our games and trying to make them better based on what they say about them.

this is an interview with the head guy on mass effect.....i think this is safe to say tali and shep might get their day :D

DO you think Tali is up for a life long commitment?

Besides i would have thought quarians would keep to there own kind being an almsot endagered race.Thats why they exile instead of death sentence so the children can coem back to the flottilla.

I have to agree with you.  It takes are real sick person to get into real life violence and be able to contiue it without wearing down mentally.  Shepard will one day need to stop and enjoy what he has fought for.  Tali will be the one to give him that comfort if I have anything to say about it.

First: She's in love with shepard since ME1. Life long commitment = Very plausible.
Second: In china, you're allowed only one child. So are you on the flotilla. People in china sometimes adopt kids.

Sounds good to me. Might want to adopt a human child as well. Pass on the Shepard/Tali legacy to both species (although not genetically). Hmm. Might be better to raise the children in a more cosmopolitan environment then, so as not to single out one of the children.

I hope you can build the house for tali....I want a romantic story with a happy ending because it would allow so much closure to the relationship.  I don't want tali cast aside as some other lay :( it would make me sad inside.

Holy Crap

(non-Tali related, but still related to the quarians)
I just finished the N7 mission where you defend the injured quarian from the varren attack.
During the attack, however, I noticed that she was with the ship, the Idenna, which is also mentioned in Ascension when Pel and Golo slaughtered a crew of quarians on a dropship (that was going to the Idenna)

Bravo Bioware for making Ascension fit right in!

--just thought he'd share that--

Their suits are very sophisticated so I am sure they have a cleaning solution going on in there. Remember these people are all about cleanliness.
