Hi everyone. New to the EA forums. I've loved Tali'Zorah since I rescued her from the thugs in ME1, so I was very happy to see this thread (and the locked first incarnation). I think her back story is excellent, and her personality is so sweet. Keep up the shouting, hopefully BioWare will give us the reward for such ardent fandom!

Besides i would have thought quarians would keep to there own kind being an almsot endagered race.Thats why they exile instead of death sentence so the children can coem back to the flottilla.

17 million hardly qualifies for "endangered" once they have a stable home with adequate resources. The Quarians are only endangered because of their current living conditions.

And yes, I do actually think Tali is up for a life long commitment with my Shepard. Sure, relationships - any relationships - require effort. As long as it doesn't feel like a constant battle or chore and the perceived positives outweigh the perceived negatives (and that the perceived negatives aren't of a certain character - ex. abuse is not okay), then it can work and is in my humble opinion worth struggling for.

Died with the original Normandy.  Now it's all about loveable friendships turned romances.  And drinking.  Lots of drinking.  Funny story, actually, I had Shepard hit the bottle hard in every club he passed for the first part of the game, like he was drowning his sorrows.

Then Tali came and the habit slowly died.  now it's all about the cuddles.

She isn't going to go al Krystal Fox on us with Star Fox commander, because that game sucked.

She does love them and Shepard will not stop her from helping her people.  In fact my Shepard will be right there with her.  Just because her people need her doesnt mean she has to leave Shepard. 

I will be the last person to tell you that Liara doesnt love Shepard.  In fact I think she may just love him or her the most for a couple of reasons but that doesn't change how Tali feels about him.  In the end Shepard is in a good place being able to have a choice of who he or she wants.  In the end though someone is going to get hurt.  I think Liara will have many years to deal with the pain and find many new love interest since she isn't even 200 yet.

Apparently people want to build a house on the Quarian home planet. That was a huge topic in the last one, I see new people, so any thoughts.

Agreed. While I haven't served in some of the places you've mentioned, Moth, I can relate. I've never felt so pacifistic as when I was an active soldier. Had something to do with suddenly having the authority to use lethal force and being taught  how to use certain equipment and shown just what the consequences of their usage can lead to.

I have to agree with you.  It takes are real sick person to get into real life violence and be able to contiue it without wearing down mentally.  Shepard will one day need to stop and enjoy what he has fought for.  Tali will be the one to give him that comfort if I have anything to say about it.
