She does love them and Shepard will not stop her from helping her people. In fact my Shepard will be right there with her. Just because her people need her doesnt mean she has to leave Shepard.
I will be the last person to tell you that Liara doesnt love Shepard. In fact I think she may just love him or her the most for a couple of reasons but that doesn't change how Tali feels about him. In the end Shepard is in a good place being able to have a choice of who he or she wants. In the end though someone is going to get hurt. I think Liara will have many years to deal with the pain and find many new love interest since she isn't even 200 yet.
Agreed. And you may very well be right about Liara. She is the one who searched for, and eventually found, Shepard's body after dealing with both the Shadow Broker and Cerberus. Her love for Shepard is a bit of a tragic story if you ask me. Her love lead her to do what no one else did and in the process ended up becoming...something else..along the way. Hence her near-obsession with the Shadow Broker. *sigh* I'm a sucker for romantic tragedies as well as happy endings.
