Agreed. While I haven't served in some of the places you've mentioned, Moth, I can relate. I've never felt so pacifistic as when I was an active soldier. Had something to do with suddenly having the authority to use lethal force and being taught  how to use certain equipment and shown just what the consequences of their usage can lead to.

I have to agree with you.  It takes are real sick person to get into real life violence and be able to contiue it without wearing down mentally.  Shepard will one day need to stop and enjoy what he has fought for.  Tali will be the one to give him that comfort if I have anything to say about it.

Let me shake your hand sir.

He'll need her love to cope with the nightmares of burning ships, dying friends and dead civilians thatwill haunt him for his whole life.  Although you can't forget, a real, true love is enough to help you cope.

Truer words are rarely spoken (or typed for that matter).

Well after Ash's display at Horizon, it's definitely over for me with her

Well, I guess Liara would be a bit better, as she did liek, you know, found your body (Redemption)

Still, I don't see Either Liara or Ash having a 'true' connection to Shepard. Like, when he was announced dead, they just moved on.

Tali probably bawled her eyes out for a couple of weeks, and it's evedent that she cared for you so much in later conversations, plus to shock when she see's you the first time AND her talking about you in the logs at Haelstrom.

That right there was so touching to me. Running around Haelstrom listening to her logs..I even found one during my 2nd playthrough that I missed the first time. Shame on me!

The way she says "I wish I could show my friends this...I wish Shepard were here".

Between that, her nervousness when you reveal your affection ...and Shepards reassuring smile after removing the mask...made me cry at the end. YES I'M A MAN AND I CRIED, THERE I SAID IT.

Also, all the looks Shep and Tali gave each other on her loyalty mission were so epic, I am so happy I didn't have those lame DLC armors on, or it would have ruined the eye contact.

I would imagine precisely the opposite, actually.  She mentioned that Quarians who are close/married will "sync" their suit environments.  This implies the ability to become accustomed to someone elses germs, just as any real immune system would; their immune systems are weak, but not totally non-existent.  Chances are that if she takes precautions not to become dangerously sick at first, that she would eventually need those precautions less and less as she becomes accustomed to Shepard.

The old saying "that which doesn't kill you makes you stronger" is very true in biological terms.

I killed them. Didn't really think that choice through. It was 7AM, I hadn't slept for about 52 hours, and Legion said "553 Geth say to destroy them, while 551 say to use the virus" or whatever.

So, I just went with the consensus.

I'm gonn'a use the virus when I get there on my Insanity new+ playthrough.
